Fly high.
This will be the last time that Iāll think of you.
Know that I wish nothing but the best for you.
And until we both succeed in our own separate lives, Iāll hope that your dreams will keep that fire burning inside you.
Fly high, my old flame.
Thank you for everything.
See you when our paths cross again.
āWhen it comes to being gentle, start with yourself. Donāt get upset with your imperfections. Being disappointed by failure is understandable, but it shouldnāt turn into bitterness or spite directed at yourself.ā

āLove yourself enough to take the actions required for your happiness ⦠enough to cut yourself loose from the drama-filled past ⦠enough to set a high standard for relationships ā¦enough to feed your mind and body in a healthy manner ⦠enough to forgive yourself ⦠enough to move on.ā
ā Steve Maraboli
I wish I couldāve done more.
Regret is perhaps the worst feeling that you could ever feel or experience in life. And it is something that is hard to get rid of. You had to live with the fact that you canāt do anything to return back time and relive the past. And though those mistakes that you did a long time ago is already done and over, you still find yourself confined with it.
What can we do if we find ourselves in a situation wherein we feel the intense pain from the past and canāt seem to move on from our mistakes? A lot of people might have these questions popping in their heads. But there are a lot of things that you can do to free yourself from these unwanted feelings.
Talk to someone you trust your feelings to. It may not solve everything but it can lessen the weight that you are carrying. Someone who has enough mental space to listen. But if you canāt find someone to talk to, try to go for a walk outside and do some light exercises. Eventually youāll meet strangers along the way whom you can vent out to if they strike a conversation. Avoid playing those scenarios in your head over and over. Instead, make new memories. Find a new hobby to keep your mind off of these negative thoughts. Some people even depend on alcohol or smoking but itās not something I would recommend if you want to do it on a daily basis as it highly affects your health. Do something you havenāt tried before and focus on healthier options. And most of all, FORGIVE YOURSELF. Itās going to be a gradual change but progress is still progress ā whether it may be big or small.
Not only you will heal, you will also outgrow from everything that hinders you to become better and happier. Things will eventually turn out well for you if you put an effort to it. Always hold on to that hope and believe that you are capable of doing wonderful things. Only then you can bid goodbye to the thought that āI wish I couldāve done moreā because you did more than what is expected. Always give credits to yourself for every step that you make because you are worth it!

āBut even in her laughter there was something missing. She never seemed to be truly happy; she just seemed to be passing time while she waited for something else. She was tired of just existing; she wanted to live.ā - Cecelia Ahern, P.S. I Love You (via the-book-diaries)

āI want to get more comfortable being uncomfortable. I want to get more confident being uncertain. I donāt want to shrink back just because something isnāt easy. I want to push back, and make more room in the area between I canāt and I can.ā

āIāll never forget how the depression and loneliness felt good and bad at the same time. Still does.ā
