If you have Spotify reblog this and tag what your number one song on your “on repeat” playlist is.
SOMEONE WITH ARTISTIC TALENT
DO YOU SEE THE VISION???!
sometimes I wonder why y'all are obsessed with specific characters and I'm like "why them" but then I remember that sometimes its literally not your choice you just look at them wrong and all of a sudden they're taking up your every thought forever
Hadley replied to my story on insta, so I’ll be casually passing away k thanks

Okay i just found out that i forgot to post this here...
(Lyrics at the beginning's credit: @Noelle from cap cut! I'll delete this if it can't be used im sry)
I just LOVE Hadley's Raoul so much like he's too hot I can't (((i miss the brat summer)
By the way, you can improve your executive function. You can literally build it like a muscle.
Yes, even if you're neurodivergent. I don't have ADHD, but it is allegedly a thing with ADHD as well. And I am autistic, and after a bunch of nerve damage (severe enough that I was basically housebound for 6 months), I had to completely rebuild my ability to get my brain to Do Things from what felt like nearly scratch.
This is specifically from ADDitude magazine, so written specifically for ADHD (and while focused in large part on kids, also definitely includes adults and adult activities):
Executive functioning skills range from working memory to cognitive flexibility to inhibitory control, and beyond. They power our daily func
Here's a link on this for autism (though as an editor wow did that title need an editor lol):
Practical Strategies for Enhancing Executive Functioning Difficulties in Adults With Autism - Living with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) as
Resources on this aren't great because they're mainly aimed at neurotypical therapists or parents of neurdivergent children. There's worksheets you can do that help a lot too or thought work you can do to sort of build the neuro-infrastructure for tasks.
But a lot of the stuff is just like. fun. Pulling from both the first article and my own experience:
Play games or video games where you have to make a lot of decisions. Literally go make a ton of picrews or do online dress-up dolls if you like. It helped me.
Art, especially forms of art that require patience, planning ahead, or in contrast improvisation
Listening to longform storytelling without visuals, e.g. just listening regularly to audiobooks or narrative podcasts, etc.
Meditation
Martial arts
Sports in general
Board games like chess or Catan (I actually found a big list of what board games are good for building what executive functioning skills here)
Woodworking
Cooking
If you're bad at time management play games or video games with a bunch of timers
Things can be easier. You do not have to be stuck forever.

there’s absolutely nothing better than reading a 100k word fanfic, that is until you remember you have a body that is starving, thirsty and incredibly sleep deprived and hasn’t used the bathroom since the sun set 8 hours ago
me cross eyed and seeing double:
Okay I’m trying to track down a fic
I don’t know when it was published, but I definitely read it at least 100 times in high school so that’s going to put us at least around 2014 - it’s a Raoulstine endgame fic, but the details I remember are that Erik takes Christine away from the opera house directly after Don Juan erupts in chaos. He takes her to another town far away where they live in a house together. There’s a market nearby where someone purchases a music box (or statue, something breakable) and they get mad later and smash it. Raoul takes a crew to try and find Christine and there’s like a main guy who’s helping out Raoul and I’m fairly sure Erik ends up killing him when they finally find Christine.
It’s been bugging me to no end because I really love this fic and haven’t read it in a really long time. I also only read it on FF, but it may exist on other platforms as well
when he says “ily” but raoul de chagny said “free her! do what you will only free her! have you no pity? i love her! does that mean nothing? i love her! show some compassion”

I hate having a body, it’s so high maintenance! Shower this, eat that, drink this, sleep that, it’s all very stupid
Imagine being a grown ass adult and essentially telling your friend that no they can’t go to the same restaurant they and their other friend group are going to
