Imagine mob boss!dean dating librarian!cas
Trying to hurry through hits and shady deals so he can make it to the library just after closing and fucking Cas against the resource shelves before slinking out the back into an unmarked SUV
Dean taking Cas on extravagant dates around the world because he’s too afraid to be caught with Cas in public because it could put Cas’s life in danger
Cas starting to push back, worried Dean is ashamed of him and Dean being so upset at the idea he promised Cas a proper dinner date in the city the next night
Dean rushing through a very violent interrogation because he’s going to be late to dinner with Cas and when he shows up his hair is all disheveled and suit rumpled and Cas gives him a wry smile when he comes running into the restaurant a half hour late rambling apologies until Cas pulls at his collar and asks “is that blood?”
Cas slowly realizing that Dean isn’t the suave businessman he pretends to be but sure exactly what Dean is until he finally pressures Dean is breaking
Cas breaking Dean’s heart when he walks out on him, terror in his eyes as he realizes the sort of atrocities Dean commits, mad at himself for having the ability to fall in love with a monster
Cas going missing days later and Dean turning the city upside to find him
Dean and his boys busting through doors until they find where Cas is being hidden and Cas watches with a mix of relief and horror as Dean murders the men responsible for taking him
Cas taking the lethal shot when Dean doesn’t see the gunman behind him and doing it without hesitation to save the man he loves
Dean taking Cas to his home and caring for him while Cas grapples with everything that’s happened the last few days. Giving Cas all the space he needs to process, never pushing him for intimacy or conversation.
Cas coming to Dean after days and kissing him, intended to be sweet and simple and soon becoming a clothes ripping affair, pulling Dean to the floor and riding him for all he’s worth as the memories flash through his mind and he thinks of the rage in Dean’s eyes as he took lives right in front of him, the sadness and the worry when he has seen Cas tied up and bruised, the shame and regret when he’d taken that smoking gun from Cas’s trembling hands and tucked it out of sight. He thinks of Dean’s sweet smiles and even sweeter kisses and the lame puns that never fail to make Cas’s nose crinkle and his ridiculous obsession with his car and all the times he saw Dean make a child laugh or flirted with an old lady on the street just to make her day
He reconciles the kind man he knew with the criminal moaning beneath him, fingers digging bruises into Cas’s hips as he thrusts up into Cas’s body and arching his neck go kiss up Cas’s throat, the love and adoration in his green eyes as he watched Cas bounce and swivel his hips and Dean says “I’m yours, always yours,” devotes himself to a simple librarian who has no business loving him
And yet the idea of a life without Dean, without those smiles and corny jokes and these powerful hands that take life as well as they give pleasure…. Cas can’t bear the thought of it
There’s a lot of talking about the sex. And cuddling. Some negotiating because Cas isn’t willing to give up his job no matter how unsafe Dean says it is now and he will not having a hoard of Dean’s thugs stalking him at work every day
They settle on four. And Cas is going to move in.
He goes back to work a few days later, security team in tow.
Dean still comes after closing and they fuck in the resource section again
But this time Dean doesn’t sneak out the back
He straightens Cas’s shirt, picks up the books they’d knocked over. Then they leave the library together, hands linked. And they go home.
