This is probably way out of context of this blog, but here’s a picture of some characters that used to occupy this blog. ((Few months old, I guess?)) This is a part of an aftermath of an event that were going to happen at some point, but since the whole story is somewhat trashed it’s not really important.
Meanwhile in paralelle universe, Notch jokingly referred the player character of Minecraft as “Hero” because well he’s obviously the hero of this game, and that somehow becomes the canon default name of the character from that moment.
Some time later, an article about a dude named “Steve” pops up on creepypasta, claiming that there is some kind of murderous ghost player who looks exactly like default player but with pitch-black dead eyes. This somehow begins to spread like wildfire on tumbleweed pile, and Mojang team gets pissed because of all these frightened 5yo kids bombarding them with questions like ‘HEEEEYYY IS STEVE REAL ASDFGHJKL’ so they starts putting messages like “Removed Steve” in every update log they make

Which climates does Minecraftia have? How about weather?
Climates in Minecraftia is closely assosiated with Biomes we see in-game, so it might help to read the WIKI PAGE first.
However, there is crucial difference between the game and actual Minecraftian climate: precipitation(amount of rain)according to the season change.
Here are some rough explanation on various climates, roughly based on KOPPEN CLIMATE CLASSIFICATION

Frozen
Corresponding to group E of KCC, with the exception of “Cold Taiga” which overlaps with class D.
Ice plain Spikes - Frozen, literally. What looks like grass on grass blocks are not grass, but mosses.Ice Plain - Frozen, Dry summer with rare rainfall/snowfall. It is hard to get liquid water in this place, so only few spruce trees are seen.Cola Taiga - Frozen, dry winter. It is much colder than average taiga, but at least there is enough water for trees to grow.
Highland
I don’t think KCC actually has this category, but apparently it’s a thing so I’m putting it here anyway. Highland climates are often classified as a sub-category of other climates, but it clearly displays distingushing characteristics in temperature change. There are hardly any difference between temperatures between seasons, but there is quite a large gap between night and day. Also, the weather tends to be rather unpredictable.
Extreme Hills - Extreme Hills is the most common type of Highland climate existing in Minecraftia. The average temperature of this area is about 12~17℃, with few spruce trees growing here and there.
Various types of M variant Biomes - Average temperature differs according to the biome they are based on.
Cool
Corresponding to group D of KCC. I mean it literally says on the biome name so yeah WIKIPEDIA LINK
Taiga - Cool, dry winter (Dwc)Mega Taiga - Cool, humid (Dfc). Mega Taiga tend to be warmer, and has more frequent rainfall than anverage taiga.
Moderate
corresponding to group C, with the exception of swampland. Most human settlements are concentrated in this area.
Forest - Most ideal place for a human to live. This is why you spawn here 9/10 times whenever you start a singleplay map
Roofed Forest - It rains more and often than average forest, so huge mushrooms are very common. Mobs who just can’t stand the heat of jungle lives here, risking higher chance of human encounter.
plains - Moderate, hot summer (Cfa). The rain frequency is evenly distributed throughout the year, so it makes a perfect place for agriculture business.
Swampland - (Am?) lots and lots of rain with muddy soil. This is where all the high quality clays comes from.
Tropical
Corresponding to group A.
Jungle - Af. Tall trees, dense bushes, and lots and lots of mobs.
Savanna- Aw. Although the game doesn’t show, it does rain a bit in Savanna. Also, this is the only non-dry biome that snow golems can’t survive.
Dry
Corrsponding to group B. There is absolutely no rain throughout year, with scalding heat that will send a snow golem straight to graveyard.
Desert - BWh. Its extreme heat and dryness makes a Zombie survive far longer than zombies from other region.
Mesa - BWh (BSh in case of F variant). There is just a bit more rain in this place than Desert, but still it wouldn’t exactly a nice place to survive.
