i feel like game piracy is sometimes viewed as this massive disruption to the game industry and not just “a small group of people who weren’t going to buy a game anyways now have it on their computer.” when companies report “losses” due to piracy that’s fake. that’s a fake number because no money was actually ever exchanged and companies cannot possibly know how many people actually pirated their game. piracy does not work like this

ok sorry to double reblog BUT I just looked him up and he does these fantastic videos where he breaks down HOW he actually mimics the other artists’ styles. Like for ed Sheeran, he explains how he brings his voice forward in the mouth, while Adam Levine sings in the back of the mouth, stuff like that. Harvest Moon GBC2's Same-Sex Confession Scene

While most fans cite Harvest Moon DS Cute as the first time same-sex relationships were ever referenced in the series, there's an event in Harvest Moon GBC 2 that allows you to confess your feelings to Mary, the town librarian, and it plays out the same regardless of your character's gender.

After becoming friends with Mary, one day she'll stop by your home in the morning and ask you to meet her in the mountains. She asks the player to write a message to leave in a time capsule, which the two of you will dig back up in 3 years. There's a few different options for your message, but one of them is "I love Mary!!"

Unfortunately, GBC2 doesn't let the player actually get married to anyone in town, so this is as far as the relationship actually gets; something I recall being frustrating to no end way back in 2000. At least you could marry her in 64, which was out at the same time, but you couldn't play as Sara in that game!
