(&& phoenix)‌:

Phoenix just shook his head and went back to the monitors. He didn’t have a chair, he usually just floated right in the air to watch, so he just did that. Floated back up and then looked at her. “That sounds craic. Let’s get real food first but then I say we go.” He said and looked back at the monitors. It was rare that he actually went and tried new things, just so busy with life and his routine, but doing it with his sister was a good idea. Plus who could ever turn down ice cream? “Yeah almost everyone. This family’s doing alright though. Needed lotsa hints but doing good.” he admitted. “how was your day?”

Her attention occasionally turned back to the monitors to watch the family. It was so strange that someone wanted to be locked up in a room trying to escape. She didn’t get it. Maybe it was the fact she felt like she was trapped in a room for so long, she just couldn’t fathom doing it for fun. “Real food, so chicken nuggets and fries.” She wasn’t asking, that’s just what she wanted. “Do you want them to fail? Cause if most people fail doesn’t that mean something is wrong or are they just not noticing all the obvious clues. Overthinking and such?” Lulu hummed, questions generally unanswered, but she didn’t mind, she just liked speaking out loud.

(&& lysander)‌:

“Hey.”  He spoke softly, reciprocating her small smile as she took the cup from him.  Lysander wished he could do more to help Lulu, even if he didn’t know the full extent of what happened.  He knew that it had to be enough to bring her down like this, and it broke his heart to see it.  But, he knew better than anyone that what she needed was support, and he was more than willing to be there for her.  “Everything is fine.  I finished my writing a bit early today, so I figured I’d spend some time with my favorite sister.”  His smile grew slightly.

She motioned for him to sit down and join her on the couch. Opening the lid of the cup Lulu smiled at it’s contents. She had a sweet, the worst of her family really and sweets could always give her something to smile about. Turning so she faced her brother the blonde tilted her head. “How’s the writing coming along, any new developments?” Her curious nature always lingered even in sadness and she loved hearing about what her brother was writing. “You also have to remind me of where you left off and what you’ve told me so far.”

Lysander knew what Lulu had been through, and he knew that her feelings were completely valid.  He also knew that family meant the world to him, and he was going to do everything he could to help.  It wasn’t much, but it was the best he could do.  Hearing her voice, he walked into the living room.  “Hey.”  He smiled as he sat down beside her on the couch and held the cup out to her.  “How’re you doing?”

Lulu hadn’t really told her Lysander everything. Just enough, just enough to try and understand or maybe he was more observant then she actually gave him credit for. She still hadn’t told Nix or her dad. Something about being able to open up to Sander though, it felt like a weight pushed away. “Hi. Hi.” She waved. Her smile was small but there. It was a loaded question but she didn’t want to give a loaded response. “Fine.” She settled on. Taking the cup she smiled. “Whatcha up too, taking time out of your day to see me? Everything all good?”

“Hi, sorry I’m a bit late! What can I get you?” Aurora asked behind the counter as she was getting ready to open the cashier as the customer gave her their money. “We’ve got a sale on cotton candy and giant gummy bears if you would like either!” She replied as she pointed over to both of the sweets despite them being so different.

Lulu looked at the giant gummy bear and then at the cotton candy and then back at the woman. Today wasn’t the best of days and she wanted a distraction. What was better then stuffing her face with candy. She was hoping it would distract her from the sadness lingering in her chest. With a head tilt and a strange stare Lulu pointed to the pink cotton candy. “I want that one and the colorful gummy bear.”

Despite not partaking in everything his family did, Lysander was about as close with his siblings as he could be, and he often liked to spend time with Lulu after a long day of writing.  Today was no exception, as he let himself into her place with a cup in his hand.  “Lulu?”  He called out, hoping that she was home.  “I have hot chocolate.”

Lulu had been sitting on the couch curled up in blankets. Her emotions had been out of order, even more so then usual. She got a little nervous when the door opened but she was immediately calmed by the sound of her older brother’s voice. She wasn’t expecting him but she was glad that he was here. Turning her head towards the sound, the blonde called out. “I’m in the living room!”

sally had been waiting in line for an hour and she couldn’t exactly say she was the most patient person especially since she had decided to order for her entire family to take dinner home instead of cooking this Christmas despite the fact that it’s one of their many holiday traditions for her to cook. “hi, i’ll just have 4 number sevens please.”

Lulu looked at the new comer and then back at the person she had been originally helping. “keep looking at what you want. i’m gonna help her.” turning her attention to the red head. “ Thank goodness someone knows what they want.” She rolled her eyes and leaned back on the counter. “That all you want? Any pie or shakes or whatever?”

Phoenix hated long days at work, but this family had come in right before closing and begged him for a game. So, being the nice person he was, of course he let them in. It was more money in his pocket anyways. They were about halfway through the game when he heard someone talking right outside the doors and he saw spinning, and a slow smile appeared on his face. Not unlike the one he was sure was on the woman in front of him. He walked forward, making sure to have given a clue before walking off, and opened the front door.”OI!” He yelled out and gestured for the other to come inside. “You’re scarin’ off the customer’s.” NIx said and laughed before shaking his head and going back to the computers. “This is a surprise, didn’ expect you today. If I did I would have told ya that I would be late. Family is still in the game for another 30 minutes.”

She grinned. That strange Cheshire grin sat on her features at the sound of her brother’s voice. “Am i?” With a swirl of her hand pulled out a flower and placed it in one of the kids hair. The child smiled and Lulu turned to face her brother. She floated inside and crossed her legs criss cross and waved. Lulu shrugged. “It wasn’t really planned. I just heard about this ice cream shop and I wanted to know you wanted to go try it with me. You can put your own toppin’s and they have chocolate whip cream. Didn’t know that was thin’.” She looked at the computer and tilted her head. “How they doin’? Anyone fail today?”

Wearing her typical cargo pants and shirt she’d been training for most of the day, her limbs screaming to take it easy, but one thing she’d promised her Dad was that even though she was here in Auradon, it was not a vacation and she had to keep training, running, boxing, climbing, weights, even to keep up her weapons training. Which to be honest was her favourite bit. She’d always excelled at that, but she’d be remiss if she didn’t at least admit to herself that she liked just being a normal girl for 5 minutes. Before going back to plotting and planning her world domination plots. Blinking out of her daze she checked the young woman watching her as she walked in, seeing her obvious annoyance with the person that she was serving. “Move you’re holding up the line.” Practically hissing at the poor soul that couldn’t decide what they wanted, she smiled somewhat sweetly at the other. “Chocolate milkshake and fries please.”

she barely payed attention to the girl. her head rolled back in anguish, it was excruciating. her feet rose a little off the ground and she blew out air. the other customer snapped at her and the poor girl looked as if she didn’t know what to do now. But Lulu really didn’t care at the moment.  “Ya know what?” her accent stronger then usual, “imma gonna let ya take a moment longer, and by the time i get back, ya better figure out what ya want. Gottcha?” She turned around, feet still hovering as she faced the other girl. “ya want the whipcream and cherry on that as well, the chocolate sprinkles and such?” Her head tilted slightly as if examining the girl while waited for answer.

lulu hovered just above the ground. the cheshire family was born with a wonderland magic and wonderland magic is much different then every day occurrences in auradon. but the isle suppressed a lot of their powers and stepping foot on to auradon soil the blonde felt as if a weight was taken off of her. so she tended to float a lot more the usual. plus when one couldn’t find a chair sitting in the air worked just as well. in her lap she held a bag of chicken nuggets. the blonde was waiting for her brother to get done from work. she had found an ice cream place he would like and she wanted to show him. she eventually poofed her bag away when people started to get out. she smiled, that strange, strange smile. she laid down in the air and flipped around and around. “are you looking for what way to go? because if you aren’t then does it really matter which way you go? or perhaps it does and you are looking to go that way. no not that way then this way. or another way. he told you that way, who’s he? that he? that way? are you sure it’s not this way?”

a cloud of smoke distorts pretty features. she is a crescent shaped moon the stars hide from her. she is the flower surrounded by ashes. she is the fire that burnt down the trees in the forest, the smoke will never evade her. she is the moon and the sun, blinding and shadowed. she is the blue hour, covered in hues of pinks and blue, you will never see who she really is.

Meet Talulah “Lulu” Mardock, provable middle child,  child of the Cheshire cat.

Literally never goes by her full name. she knows it serious if you call her Talulah.

She’s….weird. just kind of weird and goofy but also likes things to go her way and will make it so they do

Has two brothers. an older brother and a younger brother

Her dad was put on the isle because Auradon didn’t trust his strange ways and even the white queen couldn’t save the poor cat.

Even though lulu was little when she left wonderland, she has soft memories and one of those memories was playing in the white queen’s garden.

The white queen hatched a plan for lulu and her siblings to stay  behind but before Lulu could tell her siblings it was too late and her last memory of wonderland is the queen reaching out for them

She’s quite bitter because of that, does not hide that bitters. bitter bean with a weird grin

Irish AF

became interested in art as a child, she’s not anything special, but she loved the idea of art.

looks like a cinnamon roll, mostly a cinnamon roll, but could still burn you

She has that signature Cheshire cat smile and can float and disappear and such, if she wanted to change appearance she could but gets bored easily and therefore loses the concentration needed.

Probably does have nine lives

loves chicken nuggets and cereal and so much candy, literally has the worst sweet tooth, usually has a lollipop in her pocket

her last relationship left lulu unsure of who was, she’s now a strange version of herself, angry at herself but also in a way fragile, she hides a lot of her feelings behind a carefully constructed facade

While on the Isle she met a boy. He was charming enough at first but it slowly changed over two years.  Their relationship would have been rocky at best after that “honeymoon stage”. Lulu is known to be defiant, fighting against him at first, leaving at least once. He was manipulative, pulling her back in. After awhile for lack of better terms it fell down the rabbit hole. He was emotionally abusive more then anything, and her self worth is completely shattered and for awhile wrapped up in him. While he did get physical she usually fought back and ran off until he found her and coaxed her back to him. she was beaten down, his grip was always a little too tight and he liked always keep her by his side, what he made her do, it broke her. Lulu lost a lot of her brightness with him, he stole what made her so strange and fun. But the moment the Isle opened up Lulu ran. She ran with her brothers and knows she’s not strong enough to fight back against him if she should, he would just pull her in again. So she’s working on building her self worth again.

leaning on the counter of the diner, the blonde rolled her eyes at the customer taking much too long with their order. “sure you could have that, but you also wanted this. but this doesn’t always taste as good as that. perhaps you are better off sauntering home and eating the cheese that sits in your fridge. “ more annoyed then usual all she wanted was to go home. she was uneasy most days, eyes flickering towards the door, she was never sure of who was to come through that thing. it didn’t help that people didn’t know what they want. annoyed lulu was about to say something when the door chimed and a new customer walked in.

Micah wanted nothing more right now than to just hold her. To break the silence and get her to smile like his Lulu would. “Are you sure, so youd be fine with anchovy and mushroom?” a disgusting combo really; but he wanted her to smile at him and laugh a bit. Micah ordered and extra large cheese and it was on its way but Lulu didn’t know that, he plopped down on his couch beside her, after setting down the candies and chips. “Do I need to whip out the alcohol?”

His words barely registered in her head and she blinked with a small hum. When Micah sat down, she flinched. She wanted to cry, she placed her head on her knees and reached out grabbing his sweater. “Sorry.” Her apology, small and a reaction, Micah would never hurt her, never do something to make her feel small. Looking up, hand still firmly grasping his shirt Lulu nodded answering his question. She wanted to forget the feelings eating her up. “he was at my apartment. I just needed something but there he was.”
