“I have two blonde women in my life, both of whom have been called ‘bitch’ at some point or another. You’ll have to be more specific, I’m afraid,” his eyes flashed as he smirked.

The vampire sighed.

"I received the choices 'grind', 'rob', and 'run away with'," he paused, "...I would certainly be willing to do more than just grind with my lovely master," Alucard smirked, "I would most definitely rob the Iscariots, just to watch Maxwell and Anderson squirm. And I suppose I would run away with the Major...somewhere suitable to put his fat body on display."

“Perhaps both would be more accurate. Though I am sure you must have been a human as well at some point in time.”

The vampire gave a short laugh, sharp teeth flashing as his lips pulled back further. His posture was relaxed and unthreatening. He did find her answer to be most amusing. Here was a woman who had no qualms in speaking her mind, it seemed. He so enjoyed strong-willed individuals. They usually were the ones who made the world all the more interesting for immortals like himself.

“Indeed I was,” he replied, “A very long time ago.”

Sithis tilted her head to the side. She found the man strange, this she would admit. But at least, as far as her senses could read, he did not seem to mean her any harm. Yet now she was also curious about his past, but for now she would not pry. At least until she felt it was more comfortable to ask about such a thing.

“Perhaps, but if you do not mind me asking. Why is it that you have come here to my home?”

Alucard’s amused smile remained well in place. This was rather refreshing. A human who seemed to realize what he was and yet cared nothing of it. How long had it been, since a mortal like that had confronted him? Besides his dear master, who was forged of iron. He could not remember. And yet, here was yet another woman who interacted with him quite fearlessly. He held back a chuckle. What was it about the fairer sex that made them so much more able to ‘handle’ him? It fascinated him to no end, how strong these mortal women could be.

“I was hunting,” he purred in response to her question, “For creatures who are like myself and yet so much lesser.”

Vampires knew no boundaries between worlds. Vermin. Wherever there was room to live, they scurried about, drunk on power, assuming that they were invincible because they were undead. How he so enjoyed showing them otherwise.
