I will not be able to meet the deadline I’d been hoping for in finishing Stop Me. The date I initially had in mind is a painful but special one and, through realizing I’d be rushing to finish, I also came to the conclusion that Stop Me deserves to be completed naturally when it is meant, on a day that belongs just to this massive story. Which… brings me to another thing…
Behold a picture of the screen of The IPad! Yes. THE IPad. The iPad in which Stop Me was born. Most of you are very familiar with it. You’ll notice the chapter at the top that I just finished, Ch. 305. Let me know if anyone has done the math. 🤭 Aside from letting everyone know I broke 300 chapters, I wanted to show you all that I am trucking along and everything is coming together, and even though I have reached 305, the movie portion of Stop Me isn’t done. I’m probably not even half way yet, to be honest. Again, anybody got them math skills? XD I can confidently say that Act One of the movie has been completed and I’m more than half way done with Act Two, but Act Three aims to be long, strong and a beast. I’m excited to share it when it’s all done. … Which means…
What are my current plans? Well, deadlines move, but I’m adamant about one thing: I will be finishing Stop Me THIS YEAR. The goal has shifted, and the date that this story was originally made public was December 12th. I hope to complete Stop Me before then, power through the many edits I’m sure it’ll need, and have a lovely livestream conversation with all of you, my readers, who have been absolute stars through this whole journey, before posting the movie. Seriously, y’all make up a galaxy of a fandom around this story. I could not be more grateful and thankful.
