BRIDGERTON (2020-)

I know I have better things to do with my time than fight on ig but the comments on the Francesca reel and John post are NOT passing the fucking vibe check. Vile homophobic and misogynistic shit with ridiculous excuses.
Interesting 🤔…

I'm so intrigued by this braided bracelet that Benedict is wearing. It's not an accessory that we have yet seen any men wearing in the show. Also we haven't seen Ben wearing any jewelry except for his signet ring and brooches.
So it's interesting to see he's consistent in wearing this bracelet throughout the masquerade ball and the cottage as well.
Braided bracelets were available in the early 1800s that could symbolize many things depending on the person but still.... We've never seen the men in Bridgerton (aristocrats, gentry and working class alike) sporting one of these yet. I can't wait to see and find out more about it!

I still remember my heart skipping a beat when we got the first ever glimpse of Season 3 at the Tudum event '23 with the photo version of this frame.
She's literally ethereal.
🪁Kite scene theory🪁
What if the kite scene is something Benedict does to make Sophie smile after he saw her cry the night they arrived at My Cottage?
The book mentions various times how Benedict notices Sophie's sadness.
When Benophie reaches My Cottage in chapter 7, Sophie breaks down and cries in his arms.
Benedict not only holds hers, but right away finds a way to distract her and make her laugh 🥹
I love this scene so much! I mean, the man is sick! He is freezing and has a fever, yet he prioritizes Sophie. And he still doesn't know half the things she has suffered. He thinks he's only crying because Cavender and his friends attacked her.
But as he spends time with her, he realizes it's much more than a single frightening moment.
So, what if, once he feels better, he comes up with a way to make Sophie smile, forget everything bad that happened, and have fun together?
What if Sophie shares more about her life as a maid?
This would tie with the other moments where Benedict sees sadness in Sophie's eyes.
I hope we get this scene!
And finally, this one!
Isn't it funny how much attention Benedict paid to Sophie's eyes, yet that's the one thing he couldn't remember about the LIS???
Book!Benedict sees all the sadness that Sophie carries, even if he doesn't understand why. And he wants to make her happy. You can see why the writers made her so sensitive in previous seasons. So, what if that's what the kite scene is about? A chance for her to be free and silly. And at first she's just watching him play cause she's trying to keep her distance, but Benedict loses control of the kite or something, and she steps up and helps, and they end up having the best time.
I wrote a whole post about the symbolism of kites:
