Lucille really likes music that lifts her spirit or songs with cute lyrics. She doesn’t listen to music too often, but when she does, she listens to the same few songs. She tries to sing along, but she doesn’t know the lyrics so often makes up her own lyrics or sings “la la las” in the tune of the song.

Lucille says she loves all weather. Key word: says. She’s actually pretty picky about it. She likes cold weather and warm weather, but the second it gets too hot for her, she’ll complain nonstop.

Lucille tries to bake a cake every year on her birthday. She prefers to try new recipes but will occasionally go back to old ones. There’s usually a 50-50 chance of the cake coming out edible, but she still tries every year, and is slowly getting better at baking.

Although she doesn’t get to see them often, she loves fireworks. When she was younger, the loud noise used to scare her, but she’s gotten used to it now. Her favorites are the ones in cute shapes!

Stage Princesses || May and Lucille
After probably talking way too much and letting loose too many pieces of information all at once, she felt sorta bad about it. It was easy to ramble once you were in your comfort zone and talking about something you did for a living, or just about something exciting in general. But she was really curious about how Lucille came up on contests. Each person was different, and she had a feeling it wasn’t so happy, much like hers.

Lucille was shocked that May had never seen a Dedenne and wanted to drop every single fact she knew about the pokemon, but unfortunately, she knew 5 solid facts at most. “Yea, I am from Kalos!” She answered excitedly, happy that May definitely seemed interested in her life.
“Even though your parents didn’t support you, I’m glad you still followed your dream. Nothing is worse than letting someone else tell you how to live your life. I really respect you for sticking to your guns and not letting them stop you!”

Hide and Seek || Lucille and Raine
Running through forest, Raine did her best to pull the stranger behind her along for the chase. “Wait, what even is that thing? Well, I know it’s a Pokemon, but why do you want it?” Raine skidded to a stop, frantically looking around her for the Pokemon. “Wasn’t it so cooool?! I guess it is creepy, but I don’t see a problem with that.” “Personally, I prefer cute ones, but I’ll definitely help you find it!” Still looking for the Doublade, Raine responded. “Well if you want to then I gue-” “Wait, wait, wait, wait, waaaait!! It’s over there!” “WHAT REALLY?!”
Raine darted behind the girl, trying to catch a glimpse of the Pokemon. “Oh, wait, nope, it left. But it was there, I promise!” “Ugh we we’re so close! We need to mOVE!” Raine grabbed on the the girl’s arm again, but suddenly let go when she felt resistance.
“Wait, hold up! I have a question before we go again!!” Straightening up a bit, Raine finally turned towards her. “Well yea I guess, just make it quick.” “What’s your name? We should introduce ourselves before we continue! After all, Gumdrop here will get pretty angry if I keep following you along without at least knowing your name!” Tapping her foot restlessly, Raine decided she should take the lead so she could get the introduction over with. “Ok ok my name’s Raine, Raine Gage. I’m from the farm just down this road. You?” The girl introduced herself as Lucille Moreau from Anistar City. “Cool, now let’s get going; I think the Doublade is probably in town already!”
Lucille smiled brightly, listening to Raine’s introduction. “You?” The blonde perked up as Raine looked in her direction. She bounced for a few seconds, happy to introduce herself, mostly because in her mind, it meant the two were officially friends. “WELL!” She started loudly, clearing her throat before continuing in a quieter voice, “I’m Lucille! Lucille Moreau, I live in Anistar City! I used to live in Laverre City, but I didn’t really like it there, so-”
“Cool, now let’s get going.”
With a small pout on her face, Lucille crossed her arms. “Hey, I didn’t even get to finish introducing myself!” Noticing that Raine didn’t hear her, the blonde let out a defeated sigh before slowly following her so-called friend towards the entrance of Dendemille Town.
Staying further behind, Lucille half listened as Raine made a remark, commenting that the Doublade was no where to be seen. “Well that really sucks, doesn’t it?” Lucille turned her head, still angry. Her eyes widened, seeing the ghost type behind some bushes. For a split second, she thought about not telling Raine where the pokemon was, but decided that she wasn’t mean enough to do that, no matter how upset she was. With another sigh, Lucille pointed towards the Doublade and turned her head to Raine. “I found it. Again.”
Seeing Raine spring up with excitement, Lucille let out a small laugh. “You know, maybe if you calmed down a bit and took the time to actually look around, you would be able to see it too!” Although she tried to sound helpful, the annoyance was clear in her voice. She looked back to the pokemon, which was surprisingly still in its place. She shuddered looking at it and quickly looked back to Raine. “Are you suuure that’s the one you want?”

When Raine woke up, she decided that she was going to take advantage of her time back in Dendemille and do as much as she could. She promptly fell back to sleep.
It wasn’t until around one pm that she finally got out of bed. Raine had stopped by her home just south of Dendemille town to spend the night, and today would be the day that she would finally get to see some of the familiar faces around town. Leisurely getting dressed and grabbing something to eat, Raine caught her dad up with some of the adventures she had already had in the 8 or so months she had already spent traveling the Kalos region. “And so, I was trudging through this grass, like thiiis tall, and suddenly I see two big spotlights on me and THERE. IT. WAS.” Raine couldn’t help going all out in her explanation of her most recent capture: Spice the Pumpkaboo.

Lucille shot a bewildered look, “oh no, definitely not!” Shaking her head a lot for extra emphasis, she watched as the girl tried to catch it. How is she not scared of it? It’s so... creepy.

Hide and Seek || Lucille and Raine
When Lucille woke up this morning, she decided she would seize the day with all of her energy. She planned to walk around the city, maybe even go next door to Dendemille Town and enjoy the breeze. Never in a million years did she expect to get the living daylights scared out of her.
“What in the name of Arceus is that thing?!” The blonde squeaked, jumping away from the floating figure in front of her. Hearing her trainer shriek, Gumdrop popped out of her pokeball, all 12.1 pounds of toughness ready to protect Lucille, despite the fact that both the pokemon and the trainer had never battled in their lives.
As the ghost type curiously moved closer, Lucille slowly inched further and further away, not stopping until she had run into someone. “Oh thank Arceus, a person!” She quickly hid behind the girl, peeking over her shoulder. “Please help! I thought there was a scarf on the floor so I tried to pick it up, but then THAT thing popped up and it keeps coming closer and it’s so creepy, ew are those things eyes that’s gross, I wanted a scarf not two floating swords!” Seeing the Doublade floating close to them, Lucille crouched down, holding Gumdrop close to her chest and looking up at the girl above her. “Please help!”

“I don’t really think about the future and my life too often! I guess I just want to make lots of friends and have a bunch of fun times with them, that way I’m not all sad when I’m super old!”

Lucille sighed in relief, happy to have finally told her parents. She looked up at them hopefully. “No.” Her parents answered at the same time, crushing the young girl’s hope in a matter of seconds. “What? Why not!” The blonde pouted, deciding that if she couldn’t have pokemon she would definitely get an answer. “You’re not mature enough to take care of your own pokemon and we won’t take care of one for you. If we don’t think you can take care of a pokemon, we definitely don’t think you can be in contests.”
The blonde looked down with a small frown, nodding her head slowly. “Ok… I understand…” She walked to her room without another word, deciding to stay there until her grandparents came to visit in a few hours. Thankfully for the young girl who had pretty much no attention span, her grandparents came to visit much earlier than they had said. After just 10 minutes (which still seemed like hours for Lucille) her grandparents came in, immediately wrapping the young girl in hugs.
“Grandma, grandpa!!” Lucille hugged her grandparents, frown still on her face. “I told my parents that I wanted to enter contests, but they said no, and said they won’t let me enter or let me have my own pokemon!”
“Now that’s no good!” Her grandmother smiled down at her, putting her hand on Lucille’s head. “Don’t worry, your grandfather and I will talk to them. We promise we’ll get you a pokemon!” Seeing her grandfather nod in agreement, Lucille flashed a bright smile. “I love you guys!”
