A feast for your ears! Every few weeks, Patrick and Kristen lift their spirits with a bottle of wine and indulge themselves in topical discussion. No topic is off limits as the colloquy can dabble in reality television, food recipes, and to the latest episode of Nashville. At any given moment an argument is bound to break out and who knows who the winner may be. Here it is! It's been a bit of a hiatus, but The Whine Bags returns - for at least one more roundtable discussion with Patrick, Kristen, and Lorick! We have no problem glorifying the excessive violence on FX's Sons of Anarchy because we love Katy Sagal and Kristen is literally excited over the plethora of guest stars for it's final season; including Courtney Love, Marilyn Manson, and Charisma Carpenter. 

Laura Benanti, formally of NBC's now defunct Go On, strolls into Nashville; and we catch up on the latest antics of our gag Twitter account for Connie Britton's Hair. Patrick reveals that the episodes where we discuss Connie Britton's Hair are our most popular; so we ponder changing the name of the podcast to Connie Britton's Hair. 

Patrick finally watches ABC's Scandal and has now decided to Shonda-fy his life some more with How To Get Away With Murder. Katherine Heigl is still crazy and Viola Davis may or may not have crazy eyes. We attempt a Facebook poll of which celebrity has the craziest eyes and our only response is Karen Black - but we literally draw blanks. 

Kristen spent the hiatus in Icelandia and talks about snowmobiling on glaciers and swimming in natural hot tubs that smell like farts. Plus, some Icelandic bombshell mistakes her boyfriend for a UFC fighter; and they decide to roll with it. And the hunt for Björk gag gifts comes up short and missing out on Iceland's infamous penis museum - which is now the subject of a Netflix documentary. 

As the Ebola crisis looms overhead, the panel comforts themselves in ghosts stories. Including the mysterious Elisa Lam incident, the spooky happenings at Regis college, and the spirit of a little girl who steals Lia Sophia jewelry. Oh, and Patrick steps up his wine game, y'all!

Here it is! It's a super sweet sixteen party for The Whine Bags and former guest Kat Halstead returns live from her faraway bungalow in Minnesota. There's a few technical glitches, but we are literally drunk when we record this; so please forgive us. We'll figure it out someday. Speaking of drunk, Kat is sipping on a lovely bottle from the fine folks at Arbor Mist and Patrick gags on a bottle of Baguala malbec from Argentina. Patrick reminisces about the time he almost saw David Lee Roth ten years ago in Boston and Kat fills Patrick in on the finale of How I Met Your Mother that has the internet's panties in a bunch. Patrick misses the goofy voices of Bob Saget from his America's Funniest Home Videos days and Kat is shocked to learn that the jackalope is not a real creature. Courtney Love drops a new single and the panel examines the different versions of the Charles in Charge theme song. Plus, the Oscars game and Jerry Seinfeld in Las Vegas!

Here it is! Our new panelist Erin McG drops by and brings three bottles of Great White by Newport Vineyards; which the consensus is that it was our favorite thus far and obviously three bottles was not enough. Lorick confuses Billy Joel's "River of Dreams" as an Elton John song and Patrick suspects because it sounds rather Lion King-esque. Billy Joel tickets at Fenway Park are insanely overpriced and we are all willing to do anything to get in; including tattooing our private parts. Gucci Mane's legal issue section on his Wikipedia page is longer than a full set of Encyclopedia Britannicas. Plus, Christie Brinkley looks great at age 60-ish and Lorick's fetish of plane crashes. Speaking of plane crashes, Courtney Love is on the prowl of the missing Malaysian jet and Kristen's theory is just as nonsensical. Also, Patrick gives his seal of approval on the Veronica Mars movie and Kristen finds herself in a Twitter ménage à trois with Kristen Bell and Dax Shepard. The full panel reveal their favorite canceled television series, including Freaks and Geeks, Happy Endings, Law & Order, and Dirty Sexy Money; oh, and Totally T-Boz. Lorick films an audition tape for TLC's Something Borrowed, Something New and most of the magic can be heard on the episode. Erin gets excited over the idea of there being show notes and Patrick and Kristen share the story of how they met ten years ago at Logan Airport and the time they went to a Hole concert in Boston. Like most of America, here at The Whine Bags we were once captivated by NBC's Heroes. Shit really did hit the fan when Peter Petrelli scooped up his brother and exploded over the New York City skyline; which would have made for an excellent Instagram snapshot.

On the latest episode of The Whine Bags, I went on this uncalled for rant about how my love for Jerry Seinfeld has dwindled over the last few years and how I felt his comedy is only so-so. Needless to say, two hours after vomiting those words from my mouth he makes his first appearance on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon and knocks one out of the metaphorical ballpark. Here it is! Kristen bumps into Huey Lewis in Boston and has some facetime with his long Van Halen haired male groupies. Sophia Bush takes a stroll out of One Tree Hill and into the meaner streets of Chicago P.D. Patrick shares the oddity of listening to himself on a podcast while lying in bed. Megan Fox spawns a child with Brian Austin Green, or Brian Green; whatever he goes by these days. Kristen revisits the past television failures of Bryan Fuller; including the poorly strung together Dead Like Me revival movie. Patrick has trouble remembering the name of the character in American Horror Story who has the murderous vagina and then spoils The Walking Dead for Kristen, who hasn't made it beyond the first season; resulting in a discussion about how the two would survive a real life zombie apocalypse. Kate from LOST still sucks and how many stomach crunches does one have to do before they look like Joe Manganiello? Also, Awards Show season is in full effect and Kristen finds Patrick Stump from Fall Out Boy the most attractive member of the band; despite being short and tubby. Plus, Anna Chlumsky rises, remembering Queen Latifah's version of Steel Magnolias, and Patrick reveals he's a closeted fan of Reba. Oh yeah, and we drink a bottle of Cigar Box wine. Enjoy the show while it lasts, because we may soon find ourselves in rehab with Dennis Rodman or in Meredith Grey's Kyle Chandler-filled purgatory!
