An Apology

Trigger Warning: Slight talk of rape and assault below. So it was brought to my attention and much to my surprise...that I had apparently reblogged some things that were not so viewer friendly more recently. I deeply apologize. I had no idea about the content within those fan fictions. If I had I would’ve never reblogged them. I was just going through, spotting new content, save it to drafts, and posting it without really looking it over more. I was only trying to move content and deliver it to viewers. I totally didn’t notice that some of them were StretchxKat. Which I ABSOLUTELY DESPISE. I DESPISE -ANY- UnderagexAdult pairing. On a personal note, I myself was sexually assaulted when I was a child. So that goes DOUBLE for ANY rape stories or anything. I usually put those as triggers when I go into chats. I’ll be honest, I hadn’t read any of those fanfics. I just simply seen them and reblogged them to share with viewers because with the Oc x Canon one, OH LOOK, ANOTHER OC X CANON! I want to promote creativity in this fandom. That was it. I can’t read fanfics or books due to eye problems. I end up with major migraines and getting dizzy and falling out of my chair. Not using that as an excuse, it seriously shouldn’t have happened to begin with. I should’ve been paying more attention. I just hadn’t realized there were younger fans in this fandom until last summer. A lot has happened to me during that time period that literally didn’t have me thinking about this page at all or the content. Distracted. I still should’ve paid more attention though and I’m sorry. So, from now on you won’t have to worry about that. I won’t be doing that ever again. I’ve decided to leave fanfics out of my circulation. At least until I can have someone the fandom trusts do a proof read on them to make sure for me. I wouldn’t want to make anyone feel uncomfortable with the content I post. Though...I’ve been contemplating not really posting much anytime soon other than official merch or screen shots. That being said, I’m so incredibly sorry that this even happened in the first place. My deepest and sincerest apologies. I’d like to suggest XKit” to help filter out content you don’t want to see though. Why have a filter? It’s really good to filter out posts with particular words in it that have triggers for you! If the trigger word is in the description or the tags it’ll block it! This way in case you accidentally browse upon it it’ll remove it anyways. I’ve started using it to help me decipher what’s what so I don’t have to see it. That being said, I WILL mark the page in it’s description now as containing some NSFW content that may not be suitable for anyone under 18. I should’ve done that before but it honestly slipped my mind. I made this account after all when I was a lot younger and honestly I never really thought about new fans. So I appreciate it being brought up to me. Again, I want everyone to feel comfortable and I cannot stress enough how sorry that I am that I made anyone feel bad or uncomfy in this fandom. This is my favorite fandom in the entire world. Casper means everything to me. It’s my heart and soul and I’m so sorry that I ruined it for others by making a few posts that weren’t comfortable for them. I’ve for a long time have thought about just honestly leaving the Whipstaff blog here as a distant memory and after everything that’s happened, I think that’s what I’ll do. At least until I can get some help with managing the Tumblr thing. I can assign others to help me out on here. If there are people who the fandom trusts to help me run this page, I would be SO thrilled to let you do so. Make this page a better page for everyone to enjoy. Again, I am deeply and truly sorry for anyone who was triggered by anything I posted. I never meant to hurt anyone. If you honestly ever feel uncomfortable about something I’ve posted on here feel free to just DM me. I will tag it or remove it depending on the problem with it. Again, my deepest apologies.
