they did listen, that's how studies work, they asked people about their experiences and put all the data together in a nice package that can be cited

anyway. you all were very nice about the silent hill 2 warriors au. so here it is (⁠・⁠∀⁠・⁠) brief brief explanation for the au under da cut

so coughs up blood and keels over. james and mary were kittypets but mary got really sick and their twolegs couldn't afford to take care of her anymore, so they let her and james out into the wild. james was already a stray before this so he'd heard of the clan cats and figured that surely *they* could help fix mary. he was #wrong and ended up smothering her like in canon. the fog rolls in over windclan (who took them in) and he disappears into it, becoming silentfog :]
