imaginitiive:
Mariam stood at the cosily decorated stall at one of the signature Christmas markets that sprung up on the weekends leading up to the twenty-fifth. She was there for the Rainbow Trust Children’s Charity and the stall was packed with sweaters, socks, Christmas cards and all kinds of little trinkets and presents. She had a stylish woollen coat wrapped around her, her scarf tucked inside to shield herself from the cold. “Hello there! Do you need any more Christmas presents for the family? We have got some wonderful ones here, and all proceeds go to the Rainbow Trust Children’s Charity.”
Bodhi looked up at the sound of the woman’s voice, setting a pair of the sock she’d been examining neatly down in the place she had picked it up from. “As much as I’d like to say I totally had all my Christmas shopping finished and done...I can’t lie either.” She admitted sheepishly as she offered the woman a warm smile. Her own attire was pretty similar to the other woman’s and frankly half of London had realised the necessity of layers for bracing the frigid winds while the other half remained safely inside. “And when it’s for a good cause. At this point, I might just get my parents matching sweaters and say it’s because I think they’d look cute.”
