❀ I started writing fanfiction in January 2025, and I've fallen deep into a full-blown obsession with it! I post my main fic on AO3 (my username there is also @ whisperofaflame) as well as here, and occasionally I post one-shots on Tumblr.

❀ Despite my best efforts to convince my friends and tumblr that I am a big scary switch, I am in reality perhaps the subbiest sub in existence. Any similarities between me and my reader character are of course a complete coincidence though… 🙈

To the people who have sent in asks wondering about reader, and her identity:

I'm sorry I can't give you a clear answer just yet. I'm still figuring reader (and myself) out, and that makes it really tricky to give a definite opinion on labels.

I hope that makes sense, and apologies again for the vagueness ♡

I know R in CC would probably be too self conscious at the min for this but I’ve been head-cannoning that they would be extra attached to Bluebell for the next few days - they would need to bring her to breakfast for example. Nat and Wanda are so cool about it and don’t mention it until R has to go out to meet Kate and Wanda sees how anxious R is to leave Bluebell so suggests Bluebell *works’ with her in her home office and this way Wanda can keep an eye on her and makes sure Bluebell ‘doesn’t get up to any mischief’ and if thats follwed up with a light warning to R that she shouldn’t get up to mischief either and to ‘be good’ too when she goes out….well GAHHHH. Eventually when R is more comfy, Nat is definitely known to do ‘voices’ for some of the new stuffies they buy her.

When I first read this I thought “this is unbearably cute and I wish I could write this, but they are right, reader would be too scared to do that just yet”. But now that I’m writing the chapter it seems you have influenced me, sneaky anon 😭

There may just be some elements of this in chapter 23… 👀💕

Natalia clears every title btw. I understand daddy or sir or ma'am wtv in the context of reader but for wanda I think but I feel Natalia keeps things equal between them???? Like I honestly don't see wanda as a sub. And even if we call her a switch she def does not like to submit to that extent where natasha kind of seems superior to her even for a moment. Idk what I'm saying. Just do wtv you want. I am just a girl waiting patiently for my meal (next update 🤤)

It's so interesting to me how there are such a range of interpretations and opinions about these characters! It's really nice to hear all the different perspectives.

In Collision Course, Wanda and Natasha met when Wanda joined the same workplace and Natasha was tasked with "training" her. I like to think that there was a slightly military vibe there, and trainees had to be super respectful. So that's what sparked the sexual tension and also influenced the sort of dynamic they would engage in later.
