Head band and mittens.
I needed this so I made it.
Finally started the cat sweater/jumper.
This is Celeste. I decided that my next project is to knit her a sweater for when we travel to shows this winter. I will also be sewing kind of a bag to have her in when waiting to see the judge if it's cold.
I'm having some serious inspiration problems. I really want to create, but I just can't get myself to even pick up so yarn and needles. Send help!
My to-read list from this year's book and library fair.
I... I don't know what to do. I... I don't know how to fix him.
HEARTSTOPPER (2022 - ) I 3.02 - Home
Can an adult woman identify with a 15 yo boy?
Apparently so. I've been a bit obessed with Heartstopper tbh. A little weird perhaps for a cis hetero person, but I figured it out. Charlie's story trigger almost every trauma from my teens.
Being bullied at 14 by sports boys (hockey, not rugby, but same shit different flavour) - check!
Toxic masculinity and being pinned against a wall (or a bed or whatever is handy) against my will - check!
(Seriously, doesn't every woman on the planet have this trauma in some shape or form?)
Disordered eating, being obsessed with food and trying to control it. - check!
Crippling anxiety - check!
Emotionally dysregulated parent who solved problems by shouting - check! (My dad is actually a psychiatrist, but the shoemaker's kids have no shoes.)
Constantly feeling like I'm weird and everybody finds me annoying - check!
I was a teenager in the 90's, though. Nobody talked about mental health then. I just cried my eyes out when alone, clenched my jaw and got on with it. That's probably why a tv show about queer teenagers can trigger me 30 years later. But it's been a good thing. I think. It's given me a lot of comfort and some insight and it's officially my new comfort show. <3
Current hyper fixation.
The colors make me happy.
For Valentine's Day 💘💖💞💕❤️
Trying out a new kind of embroidery. I've mainly done crosstitch before. Not sure how it's going...
