INKTOBER 01 - Vicar Amelia

I’m trying Inktober this year! My main goal is to try and draw as much and as regularly as I can. Drawing faster is not that easy for me, so it’ll be interesting. I’ll have to simplify my style. It’s also a pretty good excuse for me to draw all the stuff I’ve been wanting to draw for a while but never had had enough motivation for. I never actually played Bloodborne, but the designs of all the bosses are absolutely fabulous. And this terrifying gal is definitely my favorite.

Did you ever wish for something and got it but it was even better than what you expected? I always was a bit unsatisfied with Naversas weapons, bc the only weapons that fitted into his black&white theme were the wolfborn and chaos weapon skins. The former I didn’t like the design much, the latter were unbelievably expensive until a few weeks before my GW2 pause when they came back to the BL vendors, but they were just white so not really what I was searching for. So, I always wished for a nice b&w weapon skin. And when I logged in yesterday for the first time in weeks I saw that GW2 delivered with these absolutely beautiful Equinox skins. But not only are they b&w, they 100% fit Naversas stars and starry sky theme and it’s like these weapons were MADE just for him. Thank you, GW2. Thank you ArenaNet. This is all I ever wished for.

Likes can only go so far for artists. Artists may exclusively upload their artwork to tumblr, or don’t have the time to use other sites and prefer tumblr over deviantART due to its simplicity, but the tagging system can make it harder to navigate. I’m not trying to push you to ruin your blog’s aesthetic or something, nor am I saying that “you must absolutely reblog your favourite artist’s work or you’re trash”, all I’m saying is if you truly want to support your favourite artist, instead of just liking their posts, try to reblog them once in a while. The more reblogs they receive, the more exposure/notes/followers they may receive, and it’s just one of the easiest ways to show you care about them.
