You know what's AMAZING (sarcasm), when you commission something in the spirit of giving and the person basically steals your money.

If you feel like your muse has been waining recently, it’s probably because of current events. 

This is a stressful period we’re all experiencing. You are not alone right now. Trying to battle the complications of real life takes energy, that energy detracts from the energy you use for roleplay.  

And this can be especially frustrating when RP is something you’re trying to use to escape from reality.

So remember to love yourself, treat yourself nicely, and not blame yourself for feeling under-motivated.   If you need to take a break from everything that’s okay.  Don’t be angry at yourself.  Do what you have to do to help yourself relax.

so today was kind of mixed bag. my mom was admitted to the hospital for a severely infected gallbladder and pancreas, surgery has to wait until the swelling goes down. BUT hospitals are not allowing ANY visitors in ( especailly my dad because he’s immuno-compromised, or myself because I’m pregnant.) I feel guilty that she’s there alone because she ALWAYS tries to take care of anyone else.  As of today we were told teaching will happen online, so I’m working from home. But there is a chance that our kids will not return to school this school year. I’m extremely anxious about that. Lastly, pregnant women have been added to the most at risk group for the virus so MORE ANXIETY.

the positive, my husband’s aviation school in Philly has been canceled so he won’t be away for seven weeks. I’m here as a means to write and de-stress. I’ll be around a lot more often it seems so maybe build some friendships as well.

V; A SONG OF ICE AND FIRE / GAME OF THRONES

Geralt was born to a red priestess of R’hollor in Volantis. He never knew his father, his mother did not mention his name. Ever. But much like Geralt, his father had silvery white hair. Often people called the boy a Valyarian bastard. But Geralt’s eyes, a deep ember, was a gift from the Lord of Light, or so said his mother.

Despite his mother’s faith, she was killed when the boy was eleven. He was brought by the Lady Melisandre to the an ancient sect in Asshai. The sect dedicated itself to preserving the world order and eliminating creatures that threatened the very existence of man kind. The sect of Kaer Morhen is even rumored to be the origin of the fall of Valyria. It was there that Geralt was trained in the arts of monster hunting and magic.. ancient magic. Geralt was subjected to the Trial of the Grasses, ( a painful series of experiments in which young boys were subjected to the consumption of special alchemical ingredients). The effects including physiological changes, lightening quick reflexes, decreased aging, and sterility. Very few survive the trial, Geralt being one of the few.

Geralt first came to Westeros in the year 281 to visit the wall and investigate rumors of an ancient evil. He was summoned back to Asshai just as Robert’s Rebellion began, only to return to Westero’s as the Kings hand fell ill.
