I think about when Matthias died and how Kaz reacted a lot. I’m not sure Kaz would have called them friends and Nina was too distraught (understandably) to give us many details about his reaction to the body but the way he immediately gave Nina Matthias’s cut. Now to me that was the clear choice but then I thought about it Kaz who famously cares about money power and nothing else who let’s Kruge and revenge be his main drive Kaz “doesn’t need a reason” Brekker immediately honored what would have surely been Matthias’s wishes without hesitation. He could have feasibly split his cut up and gotten nearly a million Kruge even if there was push back who could have stoped him. I would have killed to have his POV in that moment.

Ok while I love and appreciate all the fan art I find myself loving the ones where Jude looks more average. For me it’s as though it adds more depth to her and Cardens relationship the fact that in a world of inhuman beauty he found her so captivating. That even though she was mortal and to all others rather plain he was so struck by her. Especially taking into account that she has a twin sister who looks just like her. Art where she’s just normal and less fae like reminds me how their love was so much more than physical attraction.
