Although it wasn’t all too evident, the other’s tone was suggesting that he wasn’t too happy about being in Wintervale. Doreen couldn’t blame him. This place was foreign and it seemed like nobody she had spoken to hear actually called it home. Did Wintervale even have any real residents? “Hey, it’s not all bad. I’m sure there’s some super smart people figuring out a way home. I’ve bumped into a few who are doing a whole lot of research. I’m sure we’ll be back and safe in no time,” she insisted, trying to cheer Jack up.
“But how did we get here in the first place? And why?” Jack asked. He missed his home though. He thought about what Sam and Dean would do if they were in his situation. They would do research, or at least, Sam would. He brought up the subject to Doreen. “Is there a library around here?” He asked, doubting that the Men Of Letters would have a bunker in Wintervale.
