Pregnancy is a strange in-between time. I’m a mother but not quite yet. I have all of these baby items around my house and no baby. There is a bed in my room that my baby has never slept in. I know how to calm a baby and different positions for breastfeeding, but I’ve never done any of these things. I can feel her moving and I’m always carrying her, but I’ve never seen her or held her in my arms. I can’t wait for her first breath and the moment that I become someone’s mom instead of a mom-to-be.
