WHUMPTOBER DAY 2 || TALKING IS OVERRATED
garrote | choking | gagged
Villain expected to be killed when he decided to use himself as a distraction for Hero to escape. He knew he didn't have the strength to face Supervillain alone, and that was evident by the amount of wounds he had received in such a short amount of time.
However, something was off.
He had seen Supervillain fight before. Being his former ally, he had had the chance to see how vicious he could become. His full potential. Those attacks, painful as they were, were nowhere near that.
Another agonizing strike sent Villain to his knees. He felt the air get knocked out of his lungs as a violent, bloody cough sent waves of pain through his broken ribs.
Still, he knew Supervillain could do worse.
It was clear that he was holding back, but why? Why wouldn't he just finish it already? Wretched as he was, he was never one to mess around with his victims. When he wanted someone dead, he'd find a way to do it quick and clean. Unless...
Unless he wanted Villain alive. Realization hit him like a truck. He lifted his gaze to meet Supervillain's cruel stare. Supervillain looked at him as if he'd read his thoughts.
"That's right, my sweet traitor." The supervillain confirmed as he approached Villain, wrapping his firm hand around his neck and lifting him off the ground.
Villain squirmed against the grip, kicking and clawing at Supervillain's arm in a desperate attempt to free himself, but that only prompted Supervillain to squeeze harder, making him curse himself for ever taking oxygen for granted.
"Oh, darling, you thought I'd just let you die? That would be too good for you after all you've done. Besides, you should be happy. Now you can be useful to me again."
In his fight to remain conscious, Villain almost couldn't hear Supervillain's voice. Still, every word managed to send shivers down his spine.
His vision had become too blurry and his chest hurt too much. His movements became slower until his body completely stilled. The last thing he saw before allowing himself to slip into unconsciousness, was Supervillain's sadistic grin.
