Day 2: First Heartbreak We can get our hearts broken in many ways, and it's not always necessarily in the aftermath of romance. Sometimes, the romance just isn't there, or perhaps, it's there but it just isn't fair. That heartbreak came to me unexpectedly, but it was necessary. Now I understand people who do crazy silly things for love, and I also understand people who are broken down by it. For someone who hasn't been in a relationship, I have not had my fair share. I probably have not seen the worst. But in that unexpected instance, and the roller coaster of emotions that followed it, I understood. So that's how it feels to get your heart broken. Thank God for friends, beach and beer.
