correct me if I’m wrong but I don’t think what others do affects you in any way unless it’s physically or verbally harming you. If they come up to you and call you ugly or are rude to you, yeah. It affects you. If they punch you in the face, yeah, it affects you. but is them expressing themself equivalent to either of those? get back to me

my least favorite thing I think is probably when people talk to you like you’re dumb or like you’re supposed to know what they’re talking about. When you’re texting and they put “…?” After clarifying something. Or in real life when they say it slow and simple like you’re a kid. Or even when they’re like,”what are you talking about” and they laugh at you for not knowing something. I have left people on read and sometimes even blocked them because of this and irl i will simply just not respond

an effort to insult someone or laugh at them when they have done nothing to you in the first place probably means your friends don’t find you funny enough so you have to use another person’s appearance as a way to gain their validation. find better friends
