Only Sweden, Germany and France are pursuing their Paris climate goals

Of the dozens of European countries that signed the Paris climate agreement in 2016, only Sweden, Germany and France are actively pursuing policies aimed at fulfilling their pledges, according to a new study by Carbon Market Watch.

As U.S President Donald Trump reportedly gears up to begin dismantling America’s Clean Power Plan through an executive order on Tuesday, news of Europe’s lackluster participation in achieving the pledges outlined during the landmark climate conference is one more bit of disheartening news for environmental advocates. literally I want to do is go to debate camp because I fucking love debate and its so expensive and debate is where I really found my niche but to continue to be good at it I really have to go to camp but my dad literally just laughed in my face and told me it was too expensive and he and my older sister are going to england and my mom and younger sister are in india and I want to go do something I actually like and I said i would save everything I had to go and pay for half of it but he said no and then he had the audacity to ask if my two aunts who are now doctors went to debate camp but no one in my family debates other than my sister and I so no one understands. and now it looks like i am going to either have to switch to student congress (another type of debate that I really don’t care for) or quit debate all together and that would be a shame because I am actually pretty good at it

Team China swimmer Ning Zetao is shattering stereotypes about Asian men.

Twitter has a new thirst god and his name is Ning Zetao. That’s right, people on social media are freaking out over the 23-year-old Olympic swimmer, who will be representing team China at the summer games in Rio de Janeiro in the coming weeks. 

Ning will compete in the men’s 50 meter freestyle and the men’s 100 meter freestyle in Rio.
