i’m so awkward i’m not even sure how to start this but, i haven’t been on rp in over a year & i’ve been missing it and the writing lately soo here i am! (i was former hqneys/wickxdgames). i’m on winter break and ready to get back into things but honestly i’m a lil scared, i rped for 5+ years but forgot everything in a year! love that for me!

i’m going to take my time and get my muses together but…in the meantime i’d love some friends (old & new) and to maybe talk about plotting!! if u interested like this <3

hi, ya’ll ! long story short, this summer has sucked. there was a traumatic death in my family that really messed me up and so there’s been lots of sadness and negativity. i was in a huge need of change. as much as i missed my threads and wanted to rp, the idea of logging onto this account filled me with thread. i figured it meant i needed a new start so...here’s my new indie ! i hold wickdgames very near and dear to my heart and will maybe one day return to it but as of now, i’ll no longer be active here. if we have threads, or we’ve had threads, or were in the middle of plotting when i went mia, i really hope we can continue over on hqneys ! i’m slowly dragging myself out of my funk so i promise i’ll b a much better rp partner now :-)

just gonna say sorry again for my inactivity and never responding to im’s ! i’ve never lost someone this close to me & i guess really i haven’t given myself much time to grieve/process everything (it’s also literally been a week) so i’ve just been v sad and all i want to do is literally nothing....like i want to rp but i can’t find the drive in me ! but it’s slowly coming back...esp bc i’m bored all the time, so if you’re down to plot like this please & i’ll come to you :-) i’ll b getting to replies as soon as i get back to myself...which is hopefully soon

“i don’t think i’m the best basketball player ever, i just meant here.” the boy scoffed, laughing quietly. by no means was he the best out there, but he definitely had a lot of potential. in fact, he was looking to go pro after school - it was what he wanted, what his father wanted… honestly, it was what everyone wanted. “i’m more of a kobe bryant fan myself, but i’m impressed you even know who michael jordan is.” he shot her a smile, looking towards the hoop to shoot the ball once more. he chuckled at her mention of being a god, eyes rolling; although quite honestly, people had planted something like that in his head. “something like that.” he replied, shooting the ball through the hoop perfectly once more before returning it under his side. that was kind of a touchy subject for him that he didn’t like to discuss much - he was under a lot of pressure, and at times it really got to him. “alright, well let’s see if you’ve got that hidden talent, shall we?” he questioned, holding the ball out to her once more. 

“i wouldn’t really know the difference, but i’m gonna take your word      and everyone else’s, that you’re the best player here.” elena could only assume by the talk around the school that he was, in fact, the best player that this school had ever seen. she had even heard her dad, out of all people, talking about how impressive ryland’s skills were, and that he was what this school needed. “of course i know who michael jordan is,” she scoffed playfully, “how could i not? i mean, space jam is my favorite movie.” crossing her arms over her chest, she watched on in amusement as his eyes rolled. “don’t worry, i won’t start fawning over you any time soon. or ever. and if i do, i give you full permission to slap some sense into me.” it seemed as if everyone at their school had some sort of weird obsession with ryland; they either wanted to be him, or be with him. elena, on the other hand, didn’t understand the hype. he was good at what he did and sure, he wasn’t awful looking, but why put him up on a pedestal? she’d never understand her classmates. “i think it’s clear that i’m no kobe, so no making fun.” she warned as she gingerly took the ball from his hands. elena hesitated momentarily before mimicking the stance she had seen ryland take, throwing the ball towards the hoop. she was surprised to find that she did make the basket, but not before a few painstaking seconds where the ball circled the rim of the hoop, teetering closely to the edge. “now that was a lucky shot. i don’t know if you could tell or not, but i’m more of an artsy person than a sporty person.”

hi ya’ll i’m sorry for being so mia & slacking on drafts and im’s ! my uncle passed away on sunday so my week has been filled with work, lots of family, grieving, taking care of my dad, & ofc the wake and funeral. i’m still grieving so my activity may be iffy. also i’m rlly not 100% here i’m v distracted and scatter brained so if im missing anything or not replying pls just lemme know bc i truly probably just forgot ! but anyways i’ll be on a lil more so i’m here if any one is interested in plotting :-)

“yeah… without a housewarming gift.” he repeated with a chuckle emitting from his parted lips, shaking his head. “i guess i’ll let the rudeness slide just this once.”. the boy looked down at the ball in his hand, letting it fall towards the floor so that he could bounce it repeatedly. he raised his eyebrow teasingly at her joke, catching the ball back in his hand and extending his arm towards her. “yeah, the best basketball player ever?? that’s a big statement, especially to say to me.” he laughed, pulling the ball back in towards him. “i figured as much. shame though, i was about to challenge you to a little shoot off.” he nodded his head at her statement, agreeing completely. “it really doesn’t sound that weird. i mean, if it did, i guess i’d be pretty weird too. i know what you mean, though. it’s nice to come here and just be alone. i feel like im never really alone during the day.” 

“thank you so much for your kindness. after being so rude, i don’t know what i did to deserve it.” a quiet laugh escaped her lips. her eyes fell to the ball as it was extended towards her, eyes darting back towards him. “i mean, i’ve heard you’re good, but it might be going a little far to say you’re the best basketball player ever. tell that to michael jordan, or whoever.” truth be told, she knew little to nothing about sports      especially basketball. all she knew was how much their school hyped up both basketball and ryland; she hadn’t seen him play, but she had no reason not to believe he was as good as they say. “hey, maybe i’d surprise us both if you did. my talent may just be hidden,” she replied with a shrug. “i get that. if you’re not at school, you’re at home      no matter where you are, someone’s always around. and if someone’s always around, they always have something to say. though i guess it’s probably worse for you, huh? everyone’s always fawning over you like you’re some god.”

ryland grabbed the ball off the floor and tucked it between his arm and his side, eyebrow slightly raised as she spoke up. “oh, i do know…but i actually live in here now, didn’t you know?” the boy teased sarcastically, shifting his weight. “they keep the star player locked up in here always so that he can’t do anything but practice. how rude of you to barge into my home.” he was quite surprised to see the girl here, or anyone at all for that matter. usually he came here at this time because he knew no one else would be around - it was the only few minutes (or hours depending on the day) he was away from everyone else’s presence and everyone else’s judgements. a slight smirk pulled onto his lips, curiosity hinting in his tone. “what brings you here? i don’t see you as a basketball player. but maybe i’m wrong.” 

“oh really now? i guess i didn’t get the memo.” elena feigned surprise, eyebrows cocking up in amusement. “y’know, why am i not surprised?      you’re right, that was pretty rude of me. i’m so sorry for barging right in, and without a housewarming gift.” she teased, allowing herself to step further into the gym. out of all the people she would have expected to find here, he certainly was not it; though she could see why he would. while school sucked during hours, it was rather peaceful when no one else was there. “geez, way to underestimate me. for all you know i could be the best damn basketball player you’ve ever met.” she joked. “but that’s not the case. i just...hang out here sometimes.” she replied with a shrug. “it’s not as weird as it sounds.” yes, elena, it is as weird as it sounds. "my house gets a little crazy at times, so this is kind of a nice get away. there’s no one to answer to, i can play the piano as loud as i want...”

she couldn’t help but chuckle, “now that i don’t believe.” her eyebrows cocked in amusement, "why would you want someone to show up? wouldn’t that, like, ruin your reputation or something?” elena opened her folder, pulling out the rubric to showcase to the male. “we have to pick a person that we’ve talked about this semester and do a case study on them. and then present it to the class,”

ღ. * — Sweat dripped slowly down the boy’s tanned forehead as he ran back and forth across the empty basketball court, dribbling a ball across the court before shooting it into the hoop again and again. after a long and stressful day, it was no surprise finding ryland here - after all, he was the school’s star basketball player, and the courts were practically his home. he’d been here for quite some time; hours, even. it was probably somewhere around midnight at this point, hours after the gym had closed, but he’d always found a way to sneak in. having been intently focused on his performance, he barely even noticed that someone else had entered the room until the door had slammed shut behind them. he watched as the ball bounced off the rim of the hoop, eyes then shifting towards the other standing at the edge of the court. “you know you’re not supposed to be in here, right?” neither are you, ryland.

desperate to craziness of her home life, elena often found herself back at school after hours. it wasn’t like it was hard to get in      she had been taught to pick locks at a young age, and surprisingly, the school didn’t do their best work to lock up. she’s usually find herself in the library or one of the music rooms but on this night she found herself roaming the halls instead. despite one earbud in, elena could hear a faint noise traveling from the gym, a noise she couldn’t quite put her finger on. either she was about to be busted for sneaking in the school, or she wasn’t the only one that liked to hang out here after hours. creeping forward, she carefully peeked through the glass windows of the gymnasium doors. she let out a sigh of relief      it wasn’t faculty, after all, just another student. and it wasn’t just any other student, it was their one and only prized basketball star. she stepped through the doors, cringing as the doors slammed shut after her; it had not been as graceful as she had imagined. “i know,” she replied with a shrug. “do you?”

“you what?” he felt the anger in him start to bubble up. he ran his fingers through his hair. obviously, agitated about her confession. he does appreciate the she came to him and tell him what happened instead of finding it out in the mouth of a different person. “you do realize that, being drunk is the lamest excuse in the book. it’s only a myth that people are unconscious of their decisions when their drunk. because if you were unconscious and you had sex with him — that’s rape.”

“i know, i’m sorry.” she looked at wyatt with sympathetic eyes, knowing she had royally fucked up. she had almost considered keeping it a secret, but knew shit would really hit the fan if he had found out after that. “no, no, no, it wasn’t like that. i was fully conscious,” roxie reassured the male, letting a heavy sigh fall from her lips. “you’re right. i was drunk, but i knew exactly what i was doing. the thing is     i’ve kind of always had a crush on him, so i jumped on the opportunity...literally. anyways, it was wrong. i know he’s off limits, and i promise it won’t ever happen again.”

sitting against their shared headboard with her knees to her chest, maren couldn’t help but scroll further down the twitter thread dedicated solely to trashing her. it’s so obvious that maren’s just using them, it’s probably just a PR stunt, lmao sorry not sorry but they downgraded…lacy was 100x prettier, maren’s so stuck up i don’t get what they see in her... the nasty tweets went on and on, and maren often found herself getting lost in them when the other wasn’t home. it wasn’t as if she actively sought them out; more often than not, she accidentally stumbled upon them and couldn’t find it in herself to pull away. at the sound of the front door opening and closing, maren quickly exited out of twitter before throwing her phone down next to her. she inhaled a shaky breath, wiping the tears away from her eyes just as the other entered their shared bedroom. “hey,” she greeted, her lips pulling into a smile; it was quite obvious that she was not okay, but she was hoping that they wouldn’t notice.

idk really even how to describe this plot but i know i want it (i could especially see it for my katherine langford, who’s my black sheep) ! where muse a is the school loner (high school or college) and muse b is the typical handsome, popular, dickhead ! for whatever reason, whether they meet at muse a’s place of work or they’re put together for a project, muse b starts to take a liking to them. they slowly start becoming friends (though in secret ofc) and muse b starts to realize muse a isn’t anything like everyone makes them out to be and wait, oh no, they might be falling for them ? but of course muse b, despite how they feel for muse a, is really worried about what everyone else would think and their image so cue a secret relationship aka lots of sneaking around, kisses in empty classrooms, and hella angst :~)
