Lady Jessica wears this gold or mustard-yellow gown for her arrival on Arrakis. It's extremely windy, so her long train blows around to great effect. You can see in a few shots that she appears to be wearing something like pattens for shoes--that is, shoes that are raised off the ground at both the heel and the toe.

I originally wanted to include this dress in the month of blue, but it's hard to find pictures of it because it appears onscreen so briefly. And when I did find a picture of the dress on display, I was fascinated to see that the actual garment is silver! I guess it looks blue on screen due to heavy color filtering.

I think this is another great example of costume as worldbuilding. The thin, floaty fabric and delicate ornamentation suggest a leisured lifestyle and a temperate climate.
