âHoly shit, did you just see that? Â That was awesome!â
âNope, youâre gonna have to do it again.â
âActually,â Trixie spoke quietly to the other. âDo you mind if you stay the night?â she looked like it was the last thing she wanted to ask but the quiet nights were starting to get too deafening. âI know my place is shit. I only got mattresses and a fire pit in the middle of the room, lopsided table and wonky chairs but I just-- please? .â
âcan you step to the left for a second? Iâm painting what youâre standing infront of.â he mumbled without looking up at the other.
âDarling, Iâm part of the view,â she smirked at the other who really didnât seem like he was paying attention.
kaidenmcqueen:
âIs there really a difference?â Kaiden quipped, a small chuckle falling from his lips despite the fact that it only reminded him of his own loneliness. âSee, thatâs the spirit! This is the perfect set up: Iâll stick around you as much as you want and then when you get tired of me, you can just shoo me away. Itâs like having a boyfriend without all the trouble.â
âIf youâre doing things right, there should be.â She shrugged, leaning against a post. âIâll need the name of my so called boyfriend. And the services he provides.â She smirked at him, eyes twinkling almost mischeviously. She bit her lip as she suppressed a chuckle. âI donât remember subscribing, though. How much are you taking away from my bank account on the daily?â She teased.
  deadgirlcharlotte:
â Well if you keep doing stupid shit of course youâre going to get hurt. â she pointed.Â
âIf you keep talking shit, you might, too. Donât worry about me getting hurt, sweetheart. Nothinâ I canât handle.â
âWhat are you doing?â she asked the other leaning away from them as they leaned in.
â Well Iâm sorry to disappoint. â she replied, her tone dripping with sarcasm.Â
âSo you do have a soul?â Trixie placed her hand on her chest, feigning surprise. âCongratulations. Iâm proud of you.â
âI am not falling for that again. Though, I never got to try coffee.. Iâm a little apprehensive now, admittedly.âÂ
âIsnât that a pity,â she frowned playfully as she sat down beside him. She opened her coffee cup-- a habit that she didnât usually have but she was almost sure the smell of her coffee would sway Gage into trying it. âYour choice, jungle man.â She shrugged blowing at her warm coffee, looking at him.
Raising his eyebrow at the girls comment he looked up a fraction to reveal her faceâ put an appearance to the voice and raised his eyebrow. âThat depends what you mean, exactly.â he chuckled before his eyes shot back down to his drawing.Â
âIt was your offer,â she smirked at the boy, tilting her head to the side as she looked at him in interest. âBut you did say you would be all mine.â She hinted with a giggle. âI mean, thereâs usually a courting process but we can skip that entirely.â
â I wonder sometimes. â Phil chuckles, running a hand through his wild brown locks. â A, but how often do you actually buy it though? Once a month doesnât count. â
âYou need to give me more credit. I have enough money to buy me food. Thatâs like-- the only thing worth buying.â She laughed lightly. âJust so happens I earned a little extra tonight. Your choice tonight, though. What are we having?â
Kaiden couldnât help but chuckle at the girlâs command, the latent bitterness in her tone causing his smirk to widen. âFine, fine, are we good now?â He let his hand slip from her shoulder before he put his hands up in a defensive manner. âYou canât really blame me for trying can you? You looked so lonely and itâs my job to make sure pretty girls arenât lonely.â
âIâm alone, handsome,â she grinned up at him. âNot lonely.â That was a lie obviously. But Trixie didnât like showing weakness. âItâs your job? Well, I might as well make it worth the money your boss is paying you, huh?â She smirked playfully.
âWell, I am never trusting someone who offers me free âcoffeeâ again..âÂ
âShame, I was about to offer you an actual cup of coffee for free to help with your headache.â Trixie grinned at Gage.
âJust let me finish this a second.. and Iâm all yours..âÂ
âAll mine? Are you sure about your offer?â She smirked, knowing that wanât exactly what he meant. But Trixie did love messing with people.
â Well, no shit. I knew that â she replied casually, shrugging her shoulders. â Where the hell are we? â
âAsk obvious questions, get obvious answers.â She shrugged. âWeâre here,â came another obvious reply. âThatâs the best answer I can supply. I have no name to give you. All I know is that weâre stuck here by some curse.â
â Duly noted, sunshine. â Philâs stomach growls in reply. â Guess I could go for some food. You buying? Or are we both stealing? â
âWouldnât invite you if I werenât buying.â She pursed her lips to hide a grin. âHey, I earn my fair keep so I can seem like a decent human being and buy things like a normal person.â
â Wow, Trixie. So violent, not had your coffee yet, sunshine? â
âNo touching the merchandise, grumps.â She winked before she grinned at him. âWanna go grab breakfast with me?â
â Awww you actually think that I care! âÂ
âOh no dear, I wasnât counting on you having a soul.â
