I love Prince Florian so much please tell me his favorite food

IM SO GLAD YOU LOVE Prince Florian!! I’ve got some sketches and concepts I’m working on for him! He’s got a really big sweet tooth so he generally enjoys a lot of the fairy cakes that the royal kitchen bake BUT his real favourite food is when he’s lucky enough to find discarded human snacks in their big shiny packets!! Skittles and M&Ms are his favourites since they’re easy to put in his bag and he eats them like apples.

Prince Florian in his royal spring attire. Although he loves his fancy clothes he’d much rather be digging around in the mud looking for trinkets left and lost by humans.

How would Prince Florian react to the little plastic sword skewers you get on cocktails and stuff?

OHh myy god!!! YOU would not be able to pry him away from a plastic sword skewer!! A bright fluorescent weapon of the humans! See through and shiny!! I imagine he’d pry it out from the rocks in a river bed like king arthur and never want to let it go. It would absolutely be Fergus’s nightmare ahaha

So far, what’s the lil fairy prince’s most treasured artifact~?

THIS is SUCH A GOOD QUESTION!!! Prince Florians most treasured artifact is something thats too big for him to carry! Its a large ornately carved box that he found while hunting for artifacts between two large rocks. 

Much to Fergus’s dismay, Florian spent hours trying to figure out what it was. He managed to get the lid of the box open and a small dancing figure appeared from beneath. When the key at the back is wound up, the box starts to play music and the dancing figure spins around! The figure doesn’t have wings so Florian is convinced that this must be a dipiction of a human! 

Florian often goes out to visit the music box. He’ll spend long peroiods of time dancing with the figure, watching it spin. Its also a place where he’ll just go to be alone, looking at the different human objects and scenes painted on the box. It’s his most treasured find yet! There are times where Florian’s obsession with the box and other human things makes Fergus really worried about the prince’s future as a ruler.

I have a question! What would happen if our lovely Prince Florian encounters a D&D party? Would he join a party of adventures? What would his class be? 👀👀👀

Also, another question! Are there other fey courts, nobility and royalty? Or is it like his family are the Queen and King of Fey?

Hello hello!! OHH SUCH good questions!! I think if Florian met a dnd party he'd immediately want to tag along! He's only a couple of inches tall so I feel like he would be limited in his ability to help in combat but he definitely does not lack the enthusiasm!!! I think perhaps some kind of rogue class would work for him! He'd be good at sneaking into tiny places and unlocking doors! I'm still messing around with the lore of his story but I think at the moment from my notes that Florian and his family are the rulers of the Spring Court. There are of course other Fey courts as well!

Prince Florian is the son of Queen Titania and King Oberon, rulers of the faerie courts. At 6 inches tall, Florian loves sneaking into the human world and collecting human things even though it’s strictly forbidden. With the help of his frog assistant Fergus, Florian’s dream is to one day talk to a real human.

I love Prince Florian, but I love Fergus even more 🐸

THANK YOU AAAA!! I love that little fairy man!! And Fergus too!! Since you love Fergus, I can divulge you some frog lore that I have been developing for their little story! 🐸 🐸 🐸 So there is obviously the fairy courts, overseen by King Oberon and Queen Titania however there is also a Council of Frogs, who work hand in hand with the royal family, working as soldiers, bodyguards and of course royal tutors and advisors; Fergus falls under this category. Usually the larger and stronger frogs and toads are given military positions while sometimes little frogs like Fergus end up babysitting the crown prince. Fergus has promised not to tell the royal family about Prince Florian’s peculiar interest with humans, but its not easy keeping him out of trouble while watching the prince drag another human device called an “eye-pod” back to his secret hiding place.

I’ve been working on some outfits for my character Prince Florian and his advisor Fergus! Florian’s wings shift colours with the change of the seasons, which has made him an expert at coordinating outfits to fit every occasion. Fergus often has to make sure Florian doesn’t trail mud back through the palace everytime they get back from one of the prince’s grand expeditions to the outer reigons of the fairy rehlm.

Prince Florian gives Fergus maybe 10 heart attacks per day. Its all in a days work as a personal advisor to the prince of the fairy realm.

Fergus enjoys a summer stroll on a fine, sunny morning.  

I wanted to draw something cosy and nostalgic and I though that Prince Florian’s advisor Fergus would be a perfect choice! I’ll be turning this into a cute canvas bag to sell on the opening of my new online shop! Currently sceduled to open at the end of May!

Unfortunately for Prince Florian, fairy princes are required to attend all important social events for the royal courts. He’s lucky to have Fergus keeping him in check.
