Sorry I've been so neglectful
I've been so busy with uni related things, but as soon as I move down and have settled in I promise to post more, with more tried and tested recipe posts with picturessss xxxxxx
a very simple and easy vegan lasagne i made for my family the other day. unfortunately i forgot to take a proper picture before i served it, but here’s the recipe incase anyone is interested :) White sauce (I prepared 3x this amount) 20g margarine 20g flour 15cl soya milk nutmeg salt and pepper melt the margarine in a sauce pan, add flour, mix well. add the milk, little by little - i added more milk to mix as it didn’t seem liquid enough to be a sauce! add as much nutmeg, salt and pepper as you wish. Tomato sauce (i prepared 2x this amount) 1 big onion 400g canned cubed tomatoes 2 garlic cloves thyme olive oil salt and pepper heat up the olive oil in a big sauce pan. put the chopped garlic and onions in and let them go brownish. then add the tomatoes, let the sauce boil for 20 minutes and add in thyme, salt and pepper. place your lasagne sheets in the baking dish first, then a thin layer of white sauce, then tomato sauce, a lasagne sheet, and so on, put as many layers as you wish, and at last, a final layer of tomato sauce. place in the oven at 180C, wait as long as your lasagne sheet package tells you to and tadah! beautiful, tasty and cheap lasagne :) bon apetit!
