Gilaste, my dnd warlock !!

He grew up in war and poverty. As a child he came across a lost ancient tome he studied and obsessed over ever since despite never daring to cast any of the off-putting spells in it. When he was an adult he fled the city by sneaking into a ship, but before he could make it to port he was found and thrown out into the stormy open ocean. He remembers drowning, the fear, the anger, the dark water and then an incantation he had read a million times, a pact, enough power to save him now no matter the cost. The ship and everyone on it was devoured by the sea soon after, Gilaste woke up at shore with strange magic he struggles to control and haunted by mysterious voices and dreams. 🐙
