Well...

To say that this summer, I deleted my previous account because I had been told I have been written something false.

I went on Tumblr 3 days ago. Almost all the messages published about "Sadistic Beauty" this week leave me speechless.

I read that Minho is the main hoe. That Minho is lonely so he comes back to Wookyung (well... obviously : Wookyung made him lonely.)

Anyway.

WK was shocked to hear someone hating him for the first time in his life so openly 😂 cause he's usually loved by everyone. Younghoon tries to console WK saying Minho is a good boy and usually not like this. But WK doesn't let it go, so he intentionally takes everyone to Oden restaurant where Minho is working just to annoy him. Minho spots them and yells at them "What are you doing here?" Insinuating that WK came intentionally but WK replies "It was just a coincidence ⁠♡" (yes the heart emoji was there"

Minho ignores them but the owner tells him to go entertain them as WK was spending a lot of money there. Minho grudgingly joins them and gets drunk after one drink. Here he's leaning against Duna and WK notices it, probably figuring out they're dating. This scene is extra scene before WK confronts Duna at the basketball game where Minho was playing.

Doenjang Stew

Minho no longer remembers his mother's face. She abandoned him. But at the beginning of the chapter 3, he imagines Duna cooking.

And when he's asking Wookyung to cook him a dish : Doenjang Stew. Probably the dish his mother cooked to him when he was little. His main memory of his mother : a gentle housewife who knew how to cook. And he wanted Duna to be like her.

I love how Yeonhui Woo tried to imply that Minho is terrible at everything because... he made it to Hanguk University with his own talent and hardwork, was a finalist in the writing competition, completed his degree, maintained a solid job despite the emotional turmoil he was facing and was well respected by his students. He wasn't vengeful, wasn't obsessing and hounding any other character, he also never slept with his students or rape slash hurt anyone.

These aren't facts I've come up with... this is all canon!

Even when he was isolated by Wookyung who was ready to pay for everything, he had the dignity to try and work unlike trust fund fetus Wookyung who was paid for into a US degree, given a business handout by daddy, doesn't own a masters in business administration or have experience but was made director of a major company by mommy all the while he raped and abused so-called sex partners for a living. His own "business" was a money-laundering sham.

Minho is also so much better than Duna who dropped out of college over mere criticism, held bitter grudges for nearly a decade, lived paycheck to paycheck with freelancing work and while she later came back to uni to finish her education, she didn't have the decency to prioritize her degree and immediately began sleeping around with college kids, while regularly harassing Minho who held a much higher position than her, and raping him on multiple occasions.

Not to mention her questionable choice to have sex with Wookyung AFTER finding out he raped her ex, knowing well and good after seeing him with Ma Jongwoo too, that he is, in fact, a serial rapist. Also her very rapey imbalanced equations with all her kid partners who idolise her instead of seeing her as an equal in the relationship... ugh.

It's even funnier to know that these two slobs were always obsessed with Minho and wanted nothing but his love instead of the other way around. This manhwa is basically a very long drawn out self-deprecating joke by the author and I'm here for it.

Apparently WK forced himself on Minho 4 times a day in the beginning of his captivity. FOUR FREAKING TIMES!

First in the morning before going to office

My first post on Tumblr was about Wookyung.

When I deleted my account, the post disappeared and so did the picture.

Of course, Wookyung held on Duna so close to him that she couldn't breathe. But Minho is the first one to take him in his arms.

Wookyung has always suffered from loneliness, even surrounded by many people. Other people don't even look at him, no matter what he does : cruel or kind acts. He is the narrator, the observer, the one who intervenes in the other people's destinies, as a devil or a friend, but no one cares about his destiny. He can be a friend, but nobody is his friend.

He knows it : he's the person people needed him to be. He was the person Haesol or Duna needed him to be.

Or he used violence. But he wanted someone to care about him. Just once in his life.

So he knows that Duna never cared about him. She wanted him to care about himself over there, far from her.

And there is in the last chapter exactly the same words, "Take care", said by Minho. Except that Wookyung helped Minho and that Minho could be resentful. But Minho puts his hand on Wookyung's shoulder.

It's to the point that Wookyung is blushing. Whether he would have held Minho back without that, I don't know. But it is the first time in the entire stories that someone actually cares about Wookyung, right before the end.

Both Donghon and Duna were using laptops but Minho was using notepads for writing a novel, cause he couldn't afford a laptop back then.

He looks very determined. From the side story, we later got informed that by this time Minho figured out he had not enough money for post graduation. The prize money for the competition was his last hope. The scholarship wasn't enough and he couldn't get any loan either. He was basically desperate.

Then we see him getting upset when he finds out he didn't win. People really hated him for getting upset, calling him cry baby, rude, entitled, immature, loser and what not. But Minho wasn't upset at Duna though. If he yelled at her or made a fuss, then those comments would have been justified. But Minho calmly left the room and got on the rooftop to cry where no one could see him. He didn't bother anyone. He had every right to be upset. Yet fandom harped on him for showing normal human emotions.

Later he had to take his father's compensation money which ultimately ruined their relationship. Also remember, his family never supported his education. Minho had to bear the cost of his education, cost of his living by doing multiple jobs. Is it really surprising that he got upset that he lost?

Who wouldn't get upset after losing especially when your livelihood is depending on it? He gave his best, yet still couldn't get the money for his education.

And don't come with me with the "well that doesn't justify his behavior towards d*na". We're not talking about that. We're talking about how fandom called Minho names simply for crying here. Minho couldn't do anything right in their eyes. Some of them even said he deserved to be raped and tortured. Yes, you read that right. Those deranged readers exist.

Some even went the extra mile and claimed, Minho getting raped didn't count as he was a man.

I freaking hate those people. They're the real losers here. Not Minho.

SADISTIC BEAUTY : Duna timeline

We have this flashback in the chapter 10 (narrator = Duna, her memory) :

We conclude that her ex did not want her to smoke.

But much later in the story, we learn that Chun Duna did not smoke when Minho was her boyfriend.

So she smoked her cigarette after that moment :

So Duna's bossy boyfriend wanting to stop her from smoking, but at one point in her life ? In the chronology ?

After her first cigarette, after the BDSM scenes with Wookyung, it's difficult to imagine Minho telling Duna that he's going to punish her. But apart from this moment, where should we place the scene in chapter 10 ?
