i spoke
to her
in a winds
whisper
i sang to her
in a brown sparrows
song
i touched
her hair
as a leaf
as it drifted down
slipping past
evenings shifting
shadows
i kissed
her mouth
as a drop of rain
still
she gave me
no

I can feel myself heading in a downward spiral
Stuck in the deep blue sea trying to stay afloat
I find myself too often stuck in this endless cycle
And to be honest it's getting harder to cope
I finally see that the serpent who whispered to eve
Lurks in the back of our mind with a promise that a rope
Will make everything better if we tied it around the tree
We hang from the same apple tree that made Adam choke
Depression ain't a joke
It may feel like you're stuck in a hole
You may have lost faith and all sights of your goal
Just know you can get out by using that same rope
Dont give up yet hold tight on to your hope
even behind the clouds, the sun still shines
remember that the next time your mind is clouded
that beyond the clouds you'll find the light
the dark cumulonimbus has shrouded
I first found God in the sea
in all things water he was swimming so free
he asked me if I knew that I was Godly
looked at myself then to him, I said 'na I couldnt be'
he told me I was made for greater things
that I was made from the same waters as he
from the same elements as the sea and I believed
that I was some form of holy
I met our earth mother at a time of need
she showed me all that could grow from a seed
told me 'reflect that on yourself, and you will see
all that you could be with a little tlc'
said 'look at that tree and how it grows so free?
see the fruit that it bears for its siblings to eat?
and the shade it provides for all to recieve?'
that's what I want to be
People selling false hope on the daily It's amazing how we keep buying
in silence you will find peace
nowhere better to be to release
to pick up the pieces
and wonder where they fit in the midst of it
in silence you will find war
between the four walls
of the house in your mind, you'll find
that theres no greater force
in silence you will find balance
you may find it a challenge
but you have to overcome it in time
to find peace amongst the war in your mind
Torn between losing something beautiful and letting universe work her ways
Stuck in a daze on a summers day thinking bout the night I entered her space
I could have had my way
But I wasnt the only one with a plan
Guess the stars weren't aligned, or the moon wasnt ready
Maybe time was telling us to stay steady
Either way, I think I might stay out and wait
in order for us to move forward
we must go backward
back to the earth ways.
If you ask me, I would rather
believe in the land I see
than some man I dont
“A woman is not written in braille, you don’t have to touch her to know her.”
— Unknown
she feels invisible and blind to the common eye
unspoken words shes kept so long inside her mind
only a few understand her truely
a few that see her beauty
how she still shows us love even when we treat her cruely
one day she will be seen, you will feel her pain
Feel the ground shake as she rearranges
You will hear her cries when it rains, and she calls for change
See her rage go up in flames, and when life becomes unsuitable
Even then will she be beautiful
I can feel your energy, the prana that you share with me
Intertwining chemistries and karma gone infinitely
Mother Earth you're good to me so I try be just as good to you
As above, so below. I help you grow, you help me know more
I listen to you, you're my creator
I look to you as my saviour
Never asking for favours, just loving and giving
Tell me focus on living, but not making a living
Life is living and giving instead of millions and billions
Stack my love to the ceiling and watch it calm all your feelings
This is real love
starlight, star bright I cant see you through all the city lights
you took the light from the sky at night
put them on the ground just so you could see
was the fire light not bright enough?
or did you do it purposely?
that night, I wished on every shooting star I saw
for your return home
even though I knew it'd take more than that
I cried, I wept, I screamed to the sky
why? you would take them from me
I cursed the world for the curse I recieved
My chest felt sore
My heart started to bleed
I needed something
Or someone
To place the blame on beside myself
Even now
When I return home
And your two faces arent there to greet me
I feel empty
My house isnt home without you
I cant help but feel alone, without you
I hear noises that resemble you two
But I know that you're not there
In my head you're running free
No fences, nothing from stopping you leave
No fear, no where to be
No me
Enter my mind
The first of October
A palindrome
Or binary
Zeros and ones
Nothing and the beginning
Funny isnt it?
How you can get that
From simple numbers
But does it make that wrong
If October was once the 8th month
It would be 0108
Just a normal number right?
To the normal eye
I see 18 and 9
Numbers that are related
Coming from free
Funny isnt it?
How you can get that
From simple numbers
But would it make that wrong
If when there was no recording of dates
The only way you'd know
Was by the phase of the moon
And the position of the stars
The change in the seasons
Or the flowers blooming
And the fruits bearing
Some things not all of us know
Which our ancestors were skilled in
Funny isnt it?
How you can get that
From simple numbers
Do you hear that?
The sound of her cry
As people walk upon her
Leaving scars behind
Do you see that?
The tears fall from her eyes
As her children suffer
By the hands of a mans need
And do you feel her pain?
Do you see how hurt grows
Do you hear the birds sing
That bittersweet earth song
I hope you think of me
When you wake in the morning
And before you go to sleep
And realise I'm not there
I hope you remember
The feeling of my touch
Against your skin and days
While I'm gone
I wonder if you'll wonder
How it would have been
If we planted trees together
And watched them grow
But I hope you think of me
And remember my presence
And wonder how I'm doing
Anyway
Physical attractions
And real conversations
Can cause infatuation
Or some type of love
