I will never hate ES Hot Rod because of how he worked with Liege Maximo or he was "morally compromised". Just like Skybound!Elita-1, that's someone who has been starved for a long time, and it's worse when a certain someone tampered with the Allspark to drain their energies for easy control. And even then he wasn't that loyal to Liege Maximo. He didn't force Mirage to join him and still let him access the energon. He still had goodness in him and in the end, he chose to do the right thing, which still ties neatly to the overall theme of Earthspark, which is not about "everyone deserves a second chance". It's about "Whether you are good or bad, it is not because of your badges and where you from but how you choose to actions to do good or bad".

Earthspark Hot Rod is someone at the first glance, looks like a twink or a childish young man, until he opens his mouth and you see his optics, and then, you realized this a middle age man who had survived 5 famines and multiple wars, and now, he is someone who blows glasses, smokes cigars and drinks whiskey everyday.

Made one of the comments on my earthspark fic Another Place, Another Prison into a lil comic cuz I find it very silly- (plz excuse how smol and scrungly Alex is I jus wanted bee and him in the same shot but it might not have been the best idea when I'm doing it in pencil and paper XD)

[thought about it again while working on next chapter lore lol-- which istg is gonna be the thickest yet being 11 pages in and only just about to get into the main plot event point-- no regerts tho the bee-star struggles are necessary]
