hi!

this blog has been around for a while now, so i figured it's probably time to make an introduction post? (i really hope it's normal to do that with a sideblog)

greetings yay!! you can call me harrus or retti or beetle or specimen or genuinely whatever idm. harrus is my oldest nickname though :D

what's on this blog: ok so this blog is pretty obviously dedicated to the one and only willow park, but that doesn't mean i won't occasionally talk about or reblog things that include both willow and other characters! however, as of yet i'm going to try to keep posts on here centred on her :)

i am predominantly a traditional artist (used to do digital, but unfortunately no longer have those resources). i also write fanfiction, so you might be seeing some of that too! (my ao3 is a_living_specimen)

i'd be very happy to take prompts for writing, art, or just headcanons! might take a little while to get back to you but i will do my absolute best. free of charge :)

some stuff about me: i am a minor, autistic, pan (like willow yay) and i use she/they. willow is my absolute favourite character and i love her so so much!! she's pretty much the only reason i started posting on here instead of just lurking on my main blog. (speaking of - my main blog is @likely-confused but i don't really do a lot on there. this is the blog i post the most on, so far.)

i am an enthusiastic huntlow enjoyer and hunter is my second favourite character (gus is my third :D) but i don't mind other ships containing willow as long as they're nice and not illegal (by this i mean pedo shit not gay). however i don't want to write willow x gus because i just cannot see them as anything other than besties (but ship what you want!!).

hi guys! believe it or not, i got around to actually finishing a fanfiction, albeit one less than 500 words. basically, it’s willow being tired and missing the demon realm, but at least she has a friend to help :D

also, it’s not hunter. not huntlow. sorry folks i love them but also i love willow and luz :)

Something has changed in luz noceda, and everybody can sense it.

She walks into school on her first day with new hair, new clothes and a whole new attitude. She almost looks intimidating, but no one in their right minds is actually scared of luz noceda. Or at least, they’re not scared because of her appearance, of all things.

So she walks into her first class and immediately everyone holds their breath– because goodness sake, they thought they were rid of that weirdo. Now they have to endure a whole nother few months of hashtag Quirky entrances and loud declarations and unfiltered brazenness. And they sit with shared anticipation as she walks in, prepared for any wonderful and wacky hijinks, and… she sits down without a word.

Well, okay. People change. It’s a blessing, really.

OKOK so i have been headcanoning with my joyfriend (@pickledoesthetumbling say hi) and ok theory: what if willow is more powerful in the human realm? 

if you support the headcanon that she has an oversized bile sack, it makes sense that bile sacks refill more slowly in the human realm due to its non-magical nature. so that means that instwad of working with too much to handle, willow can channel her magic in an environment better adjusted to her :D
