What is This?

I am a musician and a photographer based in Nashville, TN. I bought my first camera in 2012 and I have been documenting life on the road with my band, Night Beds, exclusively on film.

My eyes are drawn to dramatic, natural lighting and to capturing dreamlike moments. I am mostly inspired by Magnum’s documentary photographers because the images have a way of pulling you in and making you feel something. I am intentional about doing the same with my images. Someday I’d like to be able to afford a Leica, but until then I’ll keep shooting with my trusty AE-1 and Ilford HP5+ film.
