"I don't want it to look like some other dickhead... I want it to look like you."
I am deep in the Leviticus hyperfixation phase, and it activated my creative juice🫠. The idea came from an interview Joe Bird did where he name-dropped Kiss It Better in the unofficial movie playlist. I haven't heard that song in a while, and it was like a forgotten memory unlocked. The song oozes sensuality, with intense yearning and desire; I connected it to the passion between Naim and Ryan in the movie, and the idea just blossomed from there.
This is probably one of my proudest works because of the skills I've learned through the process and the sentiment I have for the characters. I've always wanted to learn how to draw digitally (or draw and play with the different brushes on Photoshop, to be more specific) but never had the right time and motivation to really learn it, I guess. But for this piece, I decided to push myself and experiment because Naim, Ryan, and the movie in general mean so much to me. Never has a film deeply touched on my desire, fear, and experience as a young queer. Aside from relatability, it's also a damn good horror/romance film. One of the best aspects of the film is Joe and Stacy's chemistry. They are so magnetic that I can't take my eyes away from the screen, even for a second. Everyone did their big ones with this movie, which means I also have to step up my game to properly pay tribute to them🫠🫠🫠.
The final product isn't perfect by any means but I'm so proud of myself for trying out new things. Moreover, I just love how the piece turned out; I feel like I've captured the feeling of fear colliding with desire, idk, but I feel intensely about the piece. Shout-out to my friend (the mushroom one) for giving me tips on how to navigate Photoshop. Finally, Leviticus is out digitally now and I need everyone to go watch it IMMEDIATELY! Especially the AO3 authors; I want my 100k-word fics😩🙏
"Pretty boy, scared of the rain, by God, tend to the row of your violets, with your eyes all over me, watching, hoping the wind blows slowly so I can keep you a moment."
The way these 2 are making me stream Dust Bowl like a river😭😭😭
we're all just looking for the ryan to our naim
Amen to that, sister😭
I was so scared that they were going to end up alone... But when my boys reconnect at the bus stop, the tears I let out could fill the entire Sahara Desert😭😭😭
Prediction: Amelia’s new escape plot will culminate in the reagents flying away in hot air balloons.
I deadass thought this was a Regular Show x Pretty Little Liars crossover💀The "A" and the hospital bed made me think of Mona💀
"That first day, when Ryan teased Ruth in front of Naim, branches he'd worked hard to tear down had started to blossom. When he'd looked at himself in the mirror later, he could see the petals beneath his skin, the way they flowered between his arteries.
Naim has spent a lot of time hating Ryan Whelan for the garden in his heart and blaming him for feelings that he knows in the back of his mind would have latched onto some other boy if not Ryan."

Just when I decided to go to sleep early, the AO3 fanfictions have other plans😭😭😭 The brainrot for Leviticus in general, and for Naim and Ryan specifically, is still going STRONG🫠
Every Leviticus stan go read "be my mistake" on AO3 RIGHT NOW! It's a little ooc but the meat is still JUICY! IT'S ONLY 3 CHAPTERS OUT BUT I CAN'T STOP SCREAMING; IT'S THAT GOOD!😭

[LEVITICUS (2026) MOVIE REVIEW]
THIS ONE IS FOR THE HOPELESS ROMANTIC BOYS, FOR THOSE WHO STAYED UP ALL NIGHT READING ANSTY FANFIC ONLINE, AND FOR THE ONES WHO HAD TO GROW UP IN A CONSERVATIVE ENVIRONMENT!
From the moment I was aware of its existence, I knew that this movie would be an all-time great for me. The plot is packed with so many tender and sweet moments between the boys. This was my first time seeing a queer-themed movie on the big screen, and I knew what I was signing up for. But when I saw Ryan and Naim's yearning for each other, it made my heart melt. Together or separated, these two were always reaching for each other, both with hidden desires and emotions, waiting to be erupted. I'm especially related to Naim, both emotionally and setting-wise. He was a shy high schooler with a very aloof perspective towards his current living situation, except for Ryan. I relate to the fact that he has to close himself off from everyone around him as a form of self-protection. He puts up a protective wall against everyone, including his mother, and only one boy manages to break it down. And that is just so beautiful.
As a horror fan, I thoroughly enjoyed the gore and a few scares the film managed to sneak in. But the most horrifying thing really isn't the dark entity that haunts the boys, it's bigotry, hatred, and the refusal to listen and change. The conservatives that are so lost in keeping things their way that they even intentionally hurt the ones they swear to "save and protect." I really feel for Naim and his relationship with his mother. Throughout the movie, she always talks about how she wants to do the best thing for him, only to end up doing things her way and ignoring his cries for help. Joe Bird has put on an amazing performance that surely will haunt me for a long time.
The only negative thing I will say is that I want this film to be longer. 88 minutes is not enough for me, I want to see the relationships be explored a little further, giving more context. And my little hopeless romantic heart sure won't mind a couple more scenes of Naim and Ryan giving in to their desires👀.
Overall, I've said it before and I'll say it again. From the second I learned about Leviticus, I knew that the film would rip my heart out and squeeze all of the emotions from my body. I watched the entire thing with teary eyes because of how tragically beautiful this movie was. An instant 5 stars and it could even rival Scream as my favorite horror movie ever.
TL;DR: What others feel about Love, Simon and Heartstopper is how I feel about Leviticus❤️
P.S. Naim and Ryan are about to be added to my roster of characters to constantly make fan art of❤️
Massive multifandom art dump here!
I drew them from July 2nd to the 4th during my late grandmother's funeral. When I had no duties left for the moment, or just simply didn't want to talk to anyone (there's just no way I know all of my extended family members💀), I just did what I always do, drew silly characters from my media obsessions.
These were a bit more special since I drew them exactly how I did back when I was little, on A4 paperwork scraps. My grandma has always known of my hobby for drawing, so, in a way, this was also a kind of tribute to her. She would've been so happy to see that I still keep up my hobby and that my art has improved a lot. Love u a lot, grandma❤️

Happy Pride, y'all🏳️🌈♥️
I was still particularly intrigued by my JCC Benny x Kim Petras Detour fan art I sketched the other week. With a bit of free time this week, I've decided to throw it into Illustrator and finish it. I knew I wanted to make it pride theme somehow ('cause the source materials were nothing short of gay), but the gay man flag color presented here was completely by chance through experimenting. I guess something is just meant to be:). Overall, it's not perfect but I'm really proud of this piece since I could physically see the improvement in my illustrating skills, especially when compared to last year.
Last but not least, stream Detour by Kim Petras, play Jackpot Crash Course, and happy pride♥️🏳️🌈
Happy Pride Month, y'all! Let's kick this off with a piece about 2 gay icons I've been obsessing over lately♥️🏳️🌈.
I listened to Detour by Kim Petras lately and was immediately inspired to do something, the album was just too good. Coincidentally, I was knee-deep in my Jackpot Crash Course hyperfixation and this album just SCREAMED Benny to me (if he's into industrial girly pop music). The main thesis of Detour is taking back control and diving headfirst into recklessness, not caring about the end goal and living for the thrill of uncertainty. If that doesn't scream Benny to you, then I don't know what will. The next day, I had to catch a long bus trip to the mountains and, with all the free time, I got to work and sketched out this piece.
The bumpy ride made sketching this out quite a challenge, but I managed overall. In the future, I might throw this on Illustrator to digitize and color the entire thing. But, for now, I'm content with this fanart♥️.
Once again, happy pride month♥️🏳️🌈.
This song just came out today, and from the very first synth, I was inspired. Notebook was out, reference pulled up, and the sketch result arrived an hour later. I connected with this song because of a recent, fresh experience at a gay bar with my friends. Under the disco lights, your worries truly melt away temporarily, and the inner queer freaks come alive🪩♥️.

I have never been THIS obsessed with a game. This gay (well... gayer) Hunger Games prison edition will be on my mind for a long time. I NEED MORE CHAPTERS! Also, I'm loving the Beddie interactions so much. WHERE ARE THE FANFICTION WRITERS WHEN YOU NEED THEM?
Today is the 20th anniversary of Hannah Montana's premiere (Western time), and I'm feeling quite emotional. As far as I could remember, Hannah was my first introduction to English, pop music, and pop culture as a whole (there was that video of younger me bussing it down to Scream N Shout by will.i.am and Britney filmed by my sister, but that acted more as a prelude to what's to come). I literally learned new words and the concept of slang and catchphrases by watching Hannah get into all kinds of shenanigans. How I'm speaking and joking around has traces of Hannah's sass from back in the day. Her personality and on-stage outfits introduced me to the human flamboyancy that had become very integral to who I am. The music was the catchiest thing my primary-school ears heard. The English was still crunchy at the time, but I remember trying to mouth and sing the lyrics to Nobody's Perfect. Heck, I even brought those songs with me to class while I should have been focusing on basic math. It was weird, I was kinda weird 'cause Hannah had been off the air by the time I discovered it. Plus, no other kid from Southeast Asia in the early 2010s, let alone Vietnam, knew who the hell this white lady with a blonde wig was; they were all into Conan the detective kid. But honestly, I didn't care. Hannah was the most fascinating thing to me, and while it was sad and alienating that I couldn't share that love with anyone, a part of me was glad that I was the only one who discovered this treasure. Overall, the sitcom aspect and the music were perfect, but it wasn't the main selling point for me. What captivated me the most, even to this day, was the concept of how an ordinary kid could achieve and have an extraordinary career as a global pop star. Miley went from just some schoolgirl by day to a dominant super diva by night, and that concept fascinated me. I had a pretty boring childhood (probably because I couldn't really connect to the other kids with my Western obsession - that and I had to switch schools due to moving), so I was always dreaming about doing something big, something exciting, anything to break out of that mundane, and Hannah represented that idea. Hannah was the embodiment of the idea that anyone could be a superstar if they believed in themselves. "I'm a lucky girl whose dreams came true, but underneath it all, I'm just like you," or so she sang. I was entranced by how someone small and even looked down upon could achieve their wildest dreams and still retreat back to normality. She really had the best of both worlds (pun intended), and I carried that sentiment with me, even to this day, as I balance studying in school for a financially stable job and experimenting behind the scenes for an artistic career. In short, Hannah Montana really set the foundation for parts of who I am today. From the banging tunes, the flamboyant outfits, to the wacky and fun personalities, and the nerve to dream big as an ordinary kid. Without her, I really don't know who I would have become, or if I would have discovered the fun and colorful parts of myself. She truly has led me on the path of self-discovery, and that's important 'cause life's what you make it, so why not make it rock, as the legend once proclaimed. I'm forever indebted to her, and happy 20th anniversary, Hannah Montana❤️(P.S. I got into this beef back in middle school and literally shared the Nobody's Perfect MV on Facebook as a clapback. If you search hard enough, you might see it on my main account. If not, I had probably deleted it out of embarrassment, lol)
