So I decided to weave a dress for my wedding, with unevennesses and all that was recycled and I could fit in.. Thanks to my mother-in-law and friends for realising it. The yarn I ordered through http://www.yarnyarn.co.uk/, a company based in the UK, working with women’s cooperatives in India and Nepal. These women spun most of these yarns from old saris. Great to give new life to such festive fabrics!

In the meantime some carving printing carving printing had happened

every week 20 or more

of these bags get printed, filled and transferred by hand

and so much flour ground by the very stones depicted!
