I couldnt log in in the evening yesterday so I never saw the end of the voting results.
I was hoping I would get a message today saying what place my outfit got.
But all I got was shirt for getting to the finals...

I was qualified for the final but I couldnt play for long yesterday because I had irl things to do.

I did send in an outfit but now Im too scared to log in and check because I couldnt spend so much time on it as I wanted.
I swear, if i see one more Sabine cosplay for the villain submissions , I'm going to flip.
there are also so many random outfits, I have no idea who they are supossed to be and just a lot of black and red. where is the flavor, the creativity? Give me evil witches, mad circus directors or even the other dark riders! GIVE ME SOMETHING THAT IS NOT SABINE OR JUST A GOTH OUTFIT!
I saw two that were dressed up as Kembell and one as Ydris. So happy for them.
But many wear white and black stripped tops or sabine.
And for some reason Questfarer, like the entire set.
Like every theme had a handfull of people just in the questfarer set and nothing added. Did they not know there was a theme they supposed to follow? Or did they think that set worked for everything?
I hope we all remember that at the end of the day this is a game made for children and young teens and that this event is just for fun. Sabine is a familiar "villain" face in this game and is probably the first thing that came to a lot of kids' minds when they saw the theme. It's also a stretch to see using black/red or black/white as uncreative because why wouldn't people think of those colors for a villain? Who's going to understand or vote for a rainbow colored villain? No offence, but imho yall expect too much from a game made for children sometimes

Im not mad or dissepointed or anything like that with the players.
I didnt mind the sabine outfits. Like you said she is a fan favorite. I was mostly just suprised about the questfarer outfits.
But I recently remember it was from the trailblazer so it was free and probably the nicest items the newer players have.
Also I was one of the ones that just sent in a goth outfit for the villian theme. So didnt think of any colors either.
The kambell outfits was just the ones I like the most personally. I just thought it was creative and fun. I had forgotten he existed.
why is the list so different on rowan vs bella? they're on the exact same server. these pics were taken back to back. why is rowan in 3rd place with 13 points, while bella with 8 points is in 14th? why is rowans nr 1 contestant at 20 points while bellas is 38??

Bit of a Zorro inspiration. I do regret what horse I picked, I didnt want to pick a black horse because these photos are so dark and outfits details disepaires. But I should atleast picked a brown horse.
Not a hate post or anything, but sso has to be one of the most unfinished games I've ever played. PLEASEEE let me get into these areas please please
I'm just so curious about these areas especially Dino Valley and the Kallters, like one of my biggest regrets is that I never reached the Kallters in time before the fjords and them "disappeared" behind the gate. I was a really slow player when I first joined so it took me ages to even unlock the valley and it was too late by then. Jorvik City has always needed further development I mean not only can we not get past GED in Governers Fall but as a whole the map of Jorvik City is really mysterious?
Northlink Valley has to be the most obvious one its been locked since the dawn of time, at the very least we FINALLY got Marchenghast Castle that was a huge win.
And obviously I know I'm beating a dead horse here but there are those photos of the full jorvik map which I'm not sure if they'd even be canon anymore but it just opens the room for so many more questions. I have so many questions!!
I dont think we were ever ment to get past the road workers in Governer's Fall. It was just a way to stop players from wonder off the area.
The areas in Jorvik City are most likely kept small because we dont have access to our horses in those areas. It was never ment to expand.
But I do want to get to the museum. It would be a fun place to have where players could read up on all the history lore of Jorvik.
I personaly think North Link is being kept close untill SSE starting to plan for opening up ares beyond the map. Like to Winter Valley and the other old game areas.
God, I want to see an updated Winter Valley....
I know a lot of playes want to see Ashland and whats behind the Icengate. But I really want to see the Winter Valley and the dam up there.
Edit: just read your tags too about Mistfalls tunnel.
Someone with better idea of how games works have to come here and explain this.
During some bugs and filters in reshade, you can see a box in the sky.
I guess thats the games bounds and they cant build outside of the box. Past the Mistfalls tunnel and Winter Valley would be outside that box.
Could game developers expand the box while the game is online or would Central Jorvik and Winter Valley have to be on seperated maps thats seperated by a loading screens if they want to expand the game map beyond whats currently seen on the in-game map?

ssoblr is it ever mentioned who lives in that solo house outside Jarlaheim? I want to stick an oc there, or renting a room from whoever lives there but idk if its something. I mean it has to be its such a randomly specific path and building. I might find out as I go thru the quests in the area but thought i could ask, you guys seem to know the shit out of this game
I dont think its part of any quest or have had any npc mentioned to live there.
Personally I just imagine it was there Lisa and Peter lived while I was reading the first trilogy books.
But of course now they live in starshine ranch.

This is a good ending for their story.
Its an open ending, it can end here but also continue. SSO are most likely planning to do something with the Duke. But how far away that will be is the real question.
Im actually suprised the blight wasnt cured. I thought the dangerous forest was going to be temperaly so SSE could add other quests there that doesnt require players to stay near lantern plants to be safe during dialog. Maybe they find something to push it back in the future.
Also I found it very refreshing to unlocking quests on another day other than from a wednesday update. Its been a while since I needed to work for new quests instead of waiting for updates. Some people seem to dislike the reputation lock but I enjoy when they add that stuff back.

This is why I wonder if SSE employers could work on personal projects or only on stuff for SSO during passion week.
They just wrote "mermaid games" which made me think it was something seperated from sso but not only is this on ssos insta, it also looks like it the horse statues from SSO on the side of the ruin in the pic to the right.
Getting an underwater area in SSO would have been really cool, thou. Swimming look so freeing to do when your player cant even jump.
Still a wip so its further in the future if it will happen.
Also another post showed chinchilla pets and thats pretty cool too.
