TIME TO UPDATE THE OC MAP!

This is how the map looks right now. I have added Marchenghast so if anyone lives there it can be visible on the map. For the old post with the list of all the characters, it is [here]

If you want to add your character:

Reblog this post and ad your ocs Name, Location and a Picture of your character. You may also add any details like who they live with, which house the live in or other small details like that. A link to your blog will also be attached next to your character.

If your character is already on the map:

No need to send in the same infomation, I will not be removing anyone from the map so those who are already there will stay there.

If your character is already on the map but info is outdated:

You can also reblog this post with your characters name and where they are currently located so I can easily find them, and then explain what infomation need updated. This include if you want to change the picture.

If you want to me to remove your character:

You can either reblog or send me an message about which character is yours and that you want them removed.

I will not be removing anyone if not asked, but I will go through the list of the old characters to see if their blogs are still active. If the blog have been deleted, the characters picture frame will be black instead of red. But they wont be removed if not requested.

Someone To You ⭐ Kirby OC MAP

Recently I had the honor of making the Youtube thumbnail art for the Someone to You ⭐ Kirby OC MAP! You can watch it here :D For the thumbnail in particular, the community helped put it together as well <3

In depth commentary on the progress below :D

I am not sharing the other contributions since it is not my artwork, but I do invite those who helped to share their works :D!

When the thumbnail was brought up, we had a good number of discussions arount what we wanted from it! Ultimately the important factors were:

⭐ making sure the thumbnail had the project name ⭐ having the name and thumbnail be clear, even on mobile devices ⭐ making sure to showcase the nature of it being both Kirby AND OC focused ⭐ and doing all of that while not showing blatant favortism to one OC and leaving another out.

Youtube thumbnails can look quite small on some devices so it involved some back and fourth!! After azzie-tangerine's first iteration, and more talking between everyone, I proposed this concept iteration, which ended up being what was used.

The concept was to have nondescript hands of varyious Kirby enemies reaching out to Kirby imply "OC" while keeping the size restrictions and "no favortism" rule in mind!

Kamalemons and Anistarrae provided feedback on my second iteration, providing their comp and color thumbnails! Taking their contributions into consideration I made the following sketch:

This is an early and unfinished version of the rendering which I shared in case anyone had final input!

And then the end the end result is at the top!!

This work wouldnt be possible without the community involved, so i wanted to once again say thank you to everyone, and to once again urge everyone to watch the complete Someone to You ⭐ Kirby OC MAP!!

Doing more with my post apocalyptic setting again! Behold: a political map of the mid Atlantic 75 years after a zombie apocalypse.

Map key:

Full colored spaces = areas with no undead, useally having been able to prevent the undead from ever entering early in.

Partial color = areas where undead populations have been lowered and where the society they share the color of has major influence.

Low color = areas which still remain fully infested with the undead but where the society they share the color of still have some presence or claim to.

Blank = fully infested with undead with any humans being small populations of scavengers. These areas don't look much different from how they did at the hight of the outbreak.

Factions:

Red = New York: an anarcho communist city state controlled by several factions working in tandem. The most technologically advanced and high population society in the mid Atlantic.

Purple = The Iroquois Confederacy: a mostly indigenous state having regained independence from the United States after the outbreak and rebuilt a sovereign society.

Green = The Mountain Lords: in the Appalachians which form natrual barrier to the undead armies, the mountain lords have created a feudal system of sorts controlled by various outposts and surviving towns.

Blue = United States: the remains of the former government around the old capital. Considers the entire region their sovereign domain and are hostile to any societies that they interact with.

Grey: Sea People: traders and priates who survive in nuclear submarines, trading for things such as food. They have a few outposts on land but their true territory is within the Atlantic, and how long their range actually is is unknown.

I kinda realized that I haven’t really done one of these for my own characters, so I tried experimenting with it. And while some influences are obvious (Roll and Alia), a few others may not be.

Anyone reading Limitless Potential can see Ai isn’t exactly the warmest person (so the influence of Roll and Alia is both appearance and function), which is why, for her character, I think she’s best represented by the likes of Emma Sheen and/or pre Rush Blaze.

Olga of Tezuka is sort of obvious, but she becomes a little more like her as time progresses, especially in the sequel.

The Stake is the gambling district, then all the buildings and main roads to the right of it, to the right of that is the banks, food and water supplies and embassies, the line underneath is the train line.

This city is huge by the way, it's like the size of a small country on Earth
