She’ll stick up for you in any situation, it’s a really big step she has to take since she hates conflict. So if anyone were to assault your feelings, she’ll puff up her cheeks and begin her riot and it’s really cute but also very inconceivable to see her so upset.

Kanae hate is so forced.
Kanae would be so gentle with you. She wouldn’t want to scare you off, but instead grow closer to you. She wants to know every detail about you, she’ll study you till she passes to your heart!
Kanae would test different boundaries to see if she’s ready for a relationship, she has to, she’s already got many sisters waiting for her at home every night …Would you feel the same? She would hate to worry you, she doesn’t like anyone sad, especially you and Shinobu.
She isn’t crazy about you, she has other properties, I think we forget she’s a Hashira. When she finally alone in the halls of the Butterfly estate, she’ll silently hum to herself, thinking about you. It isn’t just any tone though—maybe a song you like, a way a bird chirped its song or wind chimes blowing in the air creating a sweet tone will remind her of your laugh.
She’ll talk about her feelings for you with Shinobu, Shinobu (at the time) would’ve got a little jealous and draw a grin on her face as she lists the cons of you. Kanae will just stop for a moment, smile then giggle.
“ Awah … You know what Shinobu? When you and Y/N smile, they’re so sweet and just make my day! ”
If you’re a demon hunter, she loves to listen to your adventures, your missions and how your fight went. The more you talk, the more she’s falling in love with you.
Although she seems soft, when she gets more comfortable with you, she starts to tease you about your appearance. Of course nothing bad, just constant compliments of poetry. Like I said, she studies you so she’ll find ways to make you stop for second. You just got to know her humor!
When Kanao was younger, she would ask you for help to take care of her! Although, she didn’t need help, she just wanted to see how you are with kids, big thing by the way!
The day she died, she was heartbroken for many reasons with you being one of them. When she was in Shinobu’s arms, dying, she wanted to ask Shinobu if she can confess to you for her …But her last breath of words were in the heavens now.
Shinobu ;
Shinobu, my everything!
It’s so rare for Shinobu to have a love interest in someone.
I think she would act like her usual self—cheerful and calm but more delicate. She treats you with care first, like allowing you get first picks of whatever you like, whether it be medicine, food or beds, especially if you’re a demon hunter.
“ Ah, Y/N! Welcome- Oh my! What wound you got there! … Please, pick whatever bed you like! I’ll have the girls tend to you as soon as possible! ”
But… she does take off her mask around you sometimes without even noticing, such as losing the smile and becoming more of her past self when Kanae was alive, straightforward and quick to anger.
She’s a skilled young woman at hiding her true emotions, it’s hard to control this one (love) so sometimes it makes her loose focus, which piles up to another reasons to be angry.
She pushes her studies to the side to spend time with you …ONLY if they’re small projects she can get done within a day or a week. She needs all the time she can get before the next demon encounterment or the final battle.
Adding onto spending time with you, no matter how long it is, she makes the most of it. Kanae was the most precious highlight of her life and loosing her absolutely broke her, plus she lost her past tsuguko, and never wants to loose you! It’s strange to her cause she didn’t think having a crush would effect her this much.
If you have crummy mental or physical health, she’ll hover over you like a hawk to make sure your body gets rest it needs. Just like Kanae, she does this out of the kindness of her heart but also quizzing herself to see if she’s ready for a relationship.
If you take her by surprise, she’ll stop and start growing small butterflies in her stomach, get it?
I know I don’t have a large following. I know this post will get lost in the sea of other posts. I know I don’t come on here often, and when I do I try to keep my page free from death and other serious topics. Yet, I think this is imperative to say, especially since I myself am of indigenous descent. I ask all of you to join me in solidarity.
Cole Brings Plenty, actor, model, and most importantly activist was found dead. He was assaulted in a club in Lawrence, Kansas. He was killed and his braids; a symbol of his heritage, of his Lakota decent, and a sacred symbol across many an indigenous nation, were forcibly cut.
I beg of thee and I plead with thee, spread the word. Do your part, however big or little, to bring light to this situation. Whether it be by reblogging this post or others alike, or by going out and making a stand. Do it.
Shed light on the situation. This goes beyond the death of one man. It is about the abuse and the destruction of natives and their communities. Of the killing of many an innocent soul. Of the brutalization of many First Nations.
We have seen time and time again, many indigenous people die by similar means. We need to bring light on the deaths of any and all indigenous individuals dead, missing or at risk. It is an epidemic, an assault, and a silent cleansing of many a nation.
Whether it be the estimated 6,000 dead at the hands of Canadian residential schools, the murdered and missing indigenous women and children, or the killing of an actor and activist, you cannot deny the sheer abhorrence of this problem. The problem of many Native American people dying, going missing and being abused, at an alarming rate. At a level unprecedented and unparalleled, at a level of which should not be kept silent.

To be honest, I don’t think Sanemi expresses his feeling towards you through bullying, he would be more reluctant to give you a sincere compliment, but if does shoot one out, it’ll be a nonchalant translation to what he really meant to say. His back would face you so you wouldn’t be able to see the soft blush growing and sinking into his dark scars. His voice in a grumbling quietly.
“ Wow! You are truly amazing, y/n! ” ➞ “ You did well out there, y/n. ”
His feelings begin to grow for you every night and since you’re the only weapon that can cut into his most vulnerable side, he tends to be a lot softer with you. When you come close to him, he feels his muscles tense up and his face warming up (on the inside). No matter what you have to say to him, he’ll scoff or either do what you asked of him/give you what you wanted, in order to hint to you how much of a great spouse he can be by taking care of you.
As cocky as this may seem, he likes when you ask about his scars. He shows them off as a representation of his strength, which is another hint to you that he is spouse material. He wants to protect you.
If you’re a demon hunter, no matter how strong you may be, he sees you as a porcelain doll and a single scratch on you can make him become even more protective of you.
He can feel the warmness in your heart that reminds of him of his mother. Plus, Sanemi like cute girls! Although if you happen to be …not his type (energetic/disty) he would either pretend to you aren’t or start to accept it slowly.

Oh my goodness, Genya is such a mess when it comes to feelings!
When he first met you, he was standing perfectly between the lines of an rude, angry child on his way to becoming a young, shy man (puberty). Like how he was with everyone to come across his path, he was ignorant! In fact, he liked you, but wasn’t aware why or how to deal with these new feelings. It led him to confusion and to purposely push you around till a few weeks later, it hit.
With those new feelings, it made him flustered around any girl! But as he came across your face again, his face and even his heart flushed a deeper red than it’s original color with a hint of sweaty droplets running a race down his body. As much he wanted to apologize to you for how he acted in the past, he will just faint in your presence because he never stopped crushing on you.
Now that he’s somewhat grown, he’s gotten smarter with combant and …why he has feelings for you. Not only for your looks, even though you’re the most prettiest girl he laid his eyes on—just like Sanemi—he can feel the warmness in your heart that reminds of him of his mother and how strongly determined you are, something he can relate to silently.
Once he can manage to talk to you without becoming a mess, he starts to get to know you a lot more (with his palms still getting sweaty). In fact, something about your voice makes him less tense so that’s probably why his face doesn’t cover up in pink as much.
If you are a demon hunter, he’s cheering you on. They’re ain’t as cheesy but more encouraging.

He’s such a love-struck fool. Sure the way he comes off is very …demanding, but all he wants to do is settle down but after all the girls who mistreated him before, who can really blame him?
And sure, he’s seen plenty of pretty, cute girls before, but the moment you caught his eye as if he was born to look at you.
When you two first meet, he did start off strong, as he normally does, with all of the promises and compliments thrown at you all at once. Tanjiro will be there to save you and reprimand Zenitsu, but later when it’s just the two of you, he’ll apologize and compliment you much more softly.
Although, this doesn’t stop him to try and earn your love! He always swear to you he’ll return safely before a mission, which helps A LOT because he doesn’t wail around like he usually does. He holds in his fear to impress you, sniffing between a few words while holding your hands tightly as sign that he doesn’t want to go.
“ y/n! I-I promise I’ll come back! I’ll kill off every d…d-demon to come back to your beautiful face! I s-swear on it! ”

But when he falls asleep during battle, he would rather much protect you; something about him saving you, even from the littlest of things and the supernatural ability to hear your heartbeat slow down as if everyone could hear it from being in his arms or seeing his back as a human shield, seems to create a stronger connection.
The littlest of things you do that makes his vision of you surrounded in sparkles and soft lighting will make his heart pump out of his body and his face will be as peachy as any peach that’s been thrown at him by Kaigaku. Just like Mitsuri squealing, he’ll just yell …loudly.
By the time you two get closer, he likes to be held or hold you. Either if Inosuke is playing rough or he seen something that scared him, he’ll jump into your arms and cry (I know I said he hold in his cries to impress you, but at times like these, he basically wants to be babied because of how genuinely scared he is and feels safe in your arms).
