This is an underrated scene from the Prisoner of Azkaban. When the dementors came close to Ginny she must have felt the entire burden of being possessed and of unwittingly hurting people all over again. 

Just imagine… all of her trauma resurfacing. Three months of trying to forgive herself, to find normalcy and probably to stop having nightmares… all of it wasted in a single moment… Riddle haunting her even after his memory had been destroyed.

It also furthers her scene with Harry in PoC in which he says that he had forgotten she was possessed by Voldemort and she retorts ‘Lucky you’. This scene is important because the HP books were from Harry’s perspective and while we miss a lot of Ginny’s emotional journey we still are allowed this sense of continuity and these small glimpses to her psyche that make her a well-rounded character.

harry potter is just such a good person, like  I know it’s not news but i am just continuously struck by how good he is, like this is a small thing but in order of the phoenix when they run into neville at st. mungo’s, harry sees him first and tries to distract everyone so neville can make a clean get away and that’s what i’m talking about this boy is constantly doing small selfless things that drive in just how kind and attuned to others he actually is

Hogwarts Houses as Seasons

Ravenclaw is winter. It’s the sting of the cold on your skin. It’s huge sweaters and scarfs. It’s the joy of being the first one to step on fresh snow. It’s watching snow melt on your skin. It’s watching a snow storm at night and looking at the street lamp to see each flake. It’s wanting not to get out of your bed where it’s warm and there are books.

Slytherin is spring. It’s the betrayal of the sun that doesn’t warm you up. It’s the surprise of it when it does. It’s the confusing days when you don’t know whether you should wear shorts or gloves. It’s the melting snow and the birds coming back. It’s flowers coming alive all around you and that unexpected floral smell you get in the middle of the street. 

Gryffindor is summer. It’s fiery and it’s hot. Sometimes it drowns you and sometimes it’s fun. It’s like going swimming in cold waters, the transition from too hot to too cold. It’s the midnight breeze on the hottest night of the year. It’s sunburns but it’s also eating ice cream whenever you want. It’s the way your mum used to keep putting sun screen on you. 

Hufflepuff is autumn. It’s calm and a bit melodramatic on occasion. It is finding comfort, it is sunny days and rainy days one right after the other. It’s the crunch of a fallen leaf, it’s the hope of the flowers that bloom in November. It is crawling on a sofa right next to the window and listening to the rain with a book in one hand and hot tea in the other.

I was rewatching Infinty War today and it got to the part where there’s the Stan Lee cameo, and it hit me that not only is Endgame going to be the last movie that all of the original Avengers are together, it’s going to be, as far as we know, the last Stan Lee cameo. They filmed Endgame with Infinty War which means Stan was likely in both. Stan got to be a part of his universe all the way to the end.
