Those shifts: My wings are existent but nonexistent, uncomfortable but unfeeling, nerveless but painful. They are trying to push out of this body's flesh. I can feel the pressure. They want to flap, to stretch, to move, but they can't. There is no comfort, there is only loss. There are no wings, there is only longing. I need to feel them; I need to feel my feathers. I need to move my wings; I need to feel my wings. But I cannot. I cannot. It's agonizing. It's torture. I don't fit in this body. I'm too big for this body. It's so tight. Let me out. Please let me out.
