Well, not the kind of water she preferred, but it would hopefully do the job ‒ to rehydrate the semiaquatic being.

Rather half-heartedly, Perrine splashed around in the mucky liquid, but stopped as noticing the.. odd looking stranger.

After curious eyes had examined her, she hesitantly lifted a hand.

"Uh.. yo?"

Tor blinked slowly at the sight of the stranger in her, and the swamp's, lands. Baring her teeth and eyeing this purple slime thingy, she slowly waded through the muck. This being should've swallowed up by the swamp already, to be readied for consumption. Instead, she was just hanging around cautiously and yet casually.

The dead horse froze when she moved, keeping her eyes on Perrine's hand. She flicked an ear when the stranger made a noise, than started to talk slowly: "Right now, you are in a dangerous place and it's forbidden for you to be hunting here. Care to state your business?". ˚ * ·

It took quite some time, but a fresh batch of cinnamon rolls was finally out of the oven!

At the smell of cinnamon rolls and an equally sweet voice, a human’s shadow appeared behind one of the trees near the forest. A young boy's shadow, exactly. But instead of a human child, a navy blue Peryton comes out of the exact tree, her nostrils flaring as she sniffs the air. A quick glance around showed her the source of the smell: bunch of bread like snacks.

Their shadow having the appearance of a human gave Perytons privacy and stealth while stalking in the woods, watching the outsiders do their things and life their daily lives.

Hoping that the small rabbit (?) didn't add anything dangerous on the recipe, Faithseeker lowered her head and started trotting towards the baker. "Well, it looks and smells nice. Would you mind if I take one?" She asks as she hesitantly raises her left front claw, waiting for permission.

Even on her day off, enjoying the evening festivities, Tiyeri couldn't help but keep a wary eye out for trouble. She stared straight ahead as she walked, cane tucked under one arm and ear twitching slightly.

"There's only one way to be sure, however... let's go down that alley, darling, and see what happens."

· Halloween, in theory, seemed very fun, especially as an evening celebration. Wizards, witches and humanoids alike coming together and dressing as something that's Non-human and asking for candy. That's why it was normal for Winterflower and her new companion to not raise any suspicions about their looks. And yeah, it was really fun to walk around without any judgement with other felines. The amount of children thinking that she was just a cat with makeshift wings was funny, or them also thinking Tiyeri had make up on was also funny.

However, what wasn't funny was the cryptic following them for almost an hour.

Winter kept her body close to Tiyeri as she took another peek behind. And here he was: Bulky body, dark pelt, muscular limbs, narrow snout, monkey like posture, tall height, curled up firsts... Looking almost identical to a gorilla, moving and acting like a human, and having glowing eyes like a predator's. Not coming too close to be danger, but not leaving their tails either. Whenever he WOULD leave, it would be short-lived, as the gorilla guy would either turn from another corner or appear from another shadow. Keeping a suspiciously long distance between the two felines, while also keep tailing them.

She knew this was abnormal - he was either a mythical creature acting normal like them, or a shape-shifting being in disguise. Winterflower wasn't naive, though, she knew that he had no good intentions. What kind of being would follow two lonely cats for one and half an hour at nighttime, and have no bad thoughts in mind, after all?

At least being with Tiyeri felt safe. Other than wings, teeth and claws, Winterflower had no defense mechanism, unlike many other mythical felines. If this gorilla guy decided to do something dangerous to her, he could do it without hesitation, and wouldn't even be stunned by her struggling. She had always saw herself as a brave and calm cat; one would never hesitate to help to the grumpiest and biggest dragon, one would cross the most perilous roads to get herbs and materials, one would finish a potion even while everything's falling apart. This whole situation, however, filled her heart with a dread that she had never felt before. One that made her fur bristle, wings twitch, claws flex and heart fasten.

Winterflower swallowed roughly and nodded at her friend, trying to keep her reactions at bay. "Alright, I trust you, Tiyeri. Let's just go." Winter eyed her cane for a second, than took a sharp turn into the alley she pointed. It took her entire free will to not check behind and verify the guy's existence, instead the other cat kept walking by Tiyeri while giving a low hiss at her:

· Mice, mice, mice! Mouse, rats, voles, shrews, even hamsters! No matter what their species were, Winter loved catching them, even before her owner had died. He didn't liked finding mice fur after meal times, but other than that, there was barely any arguments made about her eating habits.

Years had passed after her beloved witch died, and Winterflower was still chasing rhodents, even though the sun had begun to set. This time, her adventure had bought her close to this building's - what do they call it, muesum? - doors.

Well, whatever it was, the winged cat was confident that the person at the door wouldn't mind loosing a rat to her claws. She caught and ate the dark gray thing near to the door, and then, she started thinking and talking out loud. Maybe spilling the first thought came to her mind wasn't the most ideal thing to do.

Winterflower blinked at the other's response before letting out a chuckle while flaring her wings open. "Heh heh. Sorry, I just thought aloud! My bad, didn't meant to distract you from..." The gray and white feline peeked between her legs, in an attempt to see the inside of The Museum, than shrugging both with her shoulders and wings when she failed. "Whatever you are doing out here during sunset, standing at doors of The Museum."

She yawned while running her tongue on her lips, than grabbed the rat's skeleton and started burying it in a soft soil. Winterflower wasn't an idiot, she could see that this feathered fellow was like a guardian for The Museum, she just wasn't sure was made this building to be worthy of having a guard. She didn't judged, though; as it wasn't like she knew anything about The Museums - living in a forest for more than two decades with a witch didn't helped her cultural development, even though it taught her many different healing spells and herbs.

Winterflower raised her head and blinked sleepily at Ava. "Seriously, what is there to be protected? Like, ancient books about herbs or curses or something?" She asked quietly. Maybe it's the day's tiredness affecting her, maybe it's her wisdom not surprising her, or maybe she haven't seen them yet; but somehow, the former familiar doesn't comment on the obvious: Pale blue feathers and wings of the woman she was speaking to. ·

"There are vampires around? Well, that sounds troubling." He says thoughtfully while glancing out the window. The reason why a magical beast investigator should be around, right? Unless HE is the reason Ritcher was here, which didn't really made sense to him. That was quite interesting for him.

"I can bring something for you to consume from The Owner's home. He wouldn't mind, I know he wouldn't," Lav said, tapping a wing on his lower beak like a thoughtful, bearded man as he turned his head back. "We don't get our meals, though. This is a farm, we make them." What can he give his guest, though? Bacon sandwich? Cookies and milk? Scrambled eggs? Plain cheese sandwich? ✧ ★

Diamond loved exploring all around the ocean. Not only because seeing surprised humans’ reactions was funny; but also meeting with other aquatic creatures excited him. That was why he was very willing to approach the Mermaid.

“Yup! I wanted to practice my powers this noon! I hope you wouldn’t mind some blows here and there!” The dark horse replied cheerfully as he swam closer to Ariel. To prove his words, Diamond pulled his hoof out of the water to draw a slow circle at the air; which the wind current responses by taking a circular turn around them because keep blowing to its original direction.

He dips underwater to take few breaths, before popping out to look at the Mermaid. “Hello there,” The Hippocampus greets with a smile. “I’m Diamond, who are you?”

Oh, how cool! Ariel possessed no power over the wind herself, she’d have to use the Trident for that. All seven daughters were to learn how to use the Trident, just in case a need arise. But she hadn’t quite mastered the art of controlling the weather. Most of what she knew revolved around heating things up, and electricity.

“Diamond? Like the jewel?”

Jewels were hardly difficult to find in the ocean. Ariel must have had at least a dozen different pieces of jewelry that were diamond studded. Pearls would always be a requirement at any formal affair, but it still stood that this mermaid had a ton of jewelry. It was a massive part of merperson culture.

“Well I think that’s a really good name.”

She puts on her most official looking face.

“I am Princess Ariel, Seventh Daughter of the Atlantic Ocean.”

Most official voice she could muster, as well, before she broke out in laughter.

“Just call me Ariel! I’m happy to meet you!”

He nodded, still smiling, as he stroked his mane slowly. "My parents are quite rich, and naming me how they decided to their financial status to other Hippocampi. I'm glad that you liked it."

His ears perked up at the interaction, with his eyes gleaming as fiercely as the necklace he wore. Even though she laughed afterwards, Ariel managed to make herself look very important while speaking. Damn dude, he almost bowed down!

"I'm from the Southern Ocean, but I love swimming away from the home. I'm happy to meet you, too, Ariel!" Diamond explained while moving his head towards her face, with flickering ears. Sure, he too heard the stranger danger talk from his parents, but he was a big boy now! And he could create a whirlwind to defend himself if Ariel tried something suspicious or risky! Basically, he trusted that he could protect himself if things went sour; therefore he had no problem coming closer to Ariel.

"By the way, what do you mean by "Seventh Daughter of the Ocean"? Did the ocean created you or something?" The horse asked her naively. His parents knew how to wield many magic types with zero problem. He watched them do many different spells since he was a young colt, which exposed him to many different magical things and objects. Therefore, Diamond wouldn't be surprised if she said yes as a reply; he was just curious.
