Small teaser for the story of TLWS (The Light We Share) at the end of post.
Do you have an agent oc/Splatsona? An agent 3? Agent 4? Agent 8? 5? 6? 7? 9? 10? Etc etc? Do you want to talk about them?
Then I have a proposition! In my new story I’m currently writing! “The Light We Share” I will semi frequently include segments where the main character, Slushi Surimae, is working at Crusty Sean’s food truck, and will call out names for orders! I want these names to not just be random that I come up with on the fly. I want these to be real! People with backstories! People from the community!
So I’m proposing that if you’d like your oc/Splatsona to make a debut, then feel free to dm me with a brief summary about them! We could strike up conversations about them! Share info about them! And maybe make new friends along the way!
Overall, I just want to bring people and this community together on something. It was the people who made Splatoon what it is now, and I want to share that magic in my story.

Man I have been awful about this huh.
So I have been inactive on ao3 for months now, and if you’re a follower from ao3 you probably know this. And I don’t really use tumblr, but have really wanted to get into using it and hopefully building my own community! However it’s kinda hard to do that when I don’t have a base to build off of…
So anyways, Ao3! I have been inactive. But not for any bad reasons! I haven’t given up writing! Far from it actually! And I haven’t been burnt out, experienced writers block, or experienced the…ao3 curse…and I’m not dead either. This past year, I actually started a rather large project! A story! And given my previous track record on ao3 when working on continuous stories…I’m not very good at it. Which is why this time I decided to pre-write it all out! As I found that writing an ongoing story while posting the chapters led to me rushing, not being able to go back and change up anything, and overall just not being satisfied with the finished product. So I went into a little hiatus to work on a new project! One that has the characters from a previous Au of mine! Devils Advocate! This uh…little hiatus ended up turning into a long one though. I didn’t want to announce that I was working on something out of fear I’d lose motivation again, so I wanted to get some substantial progress done first before I said anything. Which I have actually!
Now if you’re curious what I am working on now, I wouldn’t like to share many details now. Although I will say, this story will be much more lighthearted than Devils Advocate was. As while I did like the ideas I had in that story, it just ended up turning out silly. Marie and Callie are no longer assassins, the domes isn’t a secret, Marina and Pearl aren’t together, (Yet), Ellie is no longer with the cuttlefish family, but Slushi is still the main character though! And the main premise of “what if the great turf war never happened” is still here! So yeah it’s still an Au :D
My hopes with this story is to create something memorable, something that will finally leave my mark! Something that when people look at it, can recognize my name on! But more than that, I want to create something that inspires hope, and for people to be the best version of themselves they can be. But as well as all that, this is my contribution to Splatoon. My thank you to the series and how it’s changed my life forever. I don’t think I’d be the person I am today if not for this series, and I want to celebrate that.
Okay, now I’ll stop rambling, and probably go back to writing. This story has been a long time in the making and will most likely be a longer time afterwards in the making still. But once it’s ready, I’ll finally be able to release something I’m proud of, and can look back on fondly. And I hope many others will be able to as well. So if you want, then stay tuned! I’ll try to keep updates coming! But don’t count on it…like I said. I’m bad at this. But I will still keep posting random little funny oneshot ideas of Splatoon I come up with! Those are always fun to write :D

I have made a thing.
Okay I have a new fic idea but it’s been hard to put into actual words so I’m hoping talking about it will give me inspiration to write it.
As we know, Acht is shown to be a more lazy octarian in canon. So I was thinking of how funny it would be if they just ended up crashing in Pearls mansion until eventually being kicked out because they’re so lazy. And they end up hanging out with Callie because of it. :3
Day 1 of attempting Deathwish! So far so good! BUT THIS FUCKING CHALLENGE CAN GO DIE.
