#they're just like us fr
I really like fictional couples that actually enjoy spending time with each other. It seems like such a simple, mundane thing. But, often, I see fictional couples who are completely enamored and dramatic and willing to die for each other, which is fine. But like… do they enjoy hanging out? Do they have private jokes and would they be friends even if they weren’t in love? It feels like such a basic thing, but it’s something that I actually don’t see that often. And it feels so refreshing and honest compared to these over-dramatic romeo and juliet-esque romances. Just two people who become good friends and because they enjoy each other’s presence so much it grows into a strong attraction. It feels more real and tangible than two attractive people meeting and “falling in love at first sight” - like, of course, you fell in love at first sight! You’re both supermodels! Sorry, can’t relate.
I’m sorry but all these plot holes in Stranger Things 5 were insane. They said the finale would answer all the questions but not only did it barely answer anything, it just created dozens more
Also RIP to all those pregnant women in the lab who were literally blown up
A great deal of these are legitimate plots holes. Some of them massively gaping plot holes, like how Will was mostly unaffected by the attack on the Mindflayer or how he even went from sensing the hive mind to being able to see what it sees and then taking control of it.
But the scene that Finn and Noah were crying about was apparently the scene on the tower that Noah asked be added to the script.
I lived through the whole "we're still best friends" thing before. I was never moved to tears by it. But that stunt Mike pulled right before with "friends? no thanks" would've wrecked me, if only for a few seconds. Even then, the emotional whiplash would still be brutal. You don't play games like that with a gay friend who has feelings for you (and Mike knowing he's the crush is still impressively vague). It was only done to make Will think Mike was going to abandon him (despite the whole you'll never lose me thing that already happened), and tease the audience into thinking Mike might surprise everyone with something shocking.
With how bad the writing was for season 5 regarding Stancy….. I honestly can’t blame Steve for moving on off screen after waiting 18 months for an answer to his confession and watching Nancy be in a relationship with Jonathan even when she’s miserable. In the book, she tells Steve she’ll think on it which makes him so excited but never actually does tell him about her feelings. He only finds out through Jonathan that Nancy joked around about the six nuggets which must’ve hurt that his dream was being treated like a big joke to her. I really do think we were originally going to get a stancy endgame because in the book she avoids Steve because he makes her feel things which scares her. Season 4 feels like a fever dream now. I read that script, her heart was skipping at his confession and all that chemistry between them was wasted this season. Also to add that the duffer brothers should’ve ignored Reddit and twitter about Stancy because the GA loved them. My mom certainly did. She liked Steve better and questioned why Nancy is with that creepy loser when Steve was right there 😂
hey now, don't dream it's over
I feel so bad for millie bobby brown, she gave up her whloe childhood for this show and then in the last season she was sidelined and got one of the worst endings possible for her character
She didn't get to do any of the lasts with the crew because she wasn't even apart of any of it. If the rumours are true and she didn't go to the finale party or watch thing I completely understand why
That poor girl has been ruthlessly bullied by the Internet her entire career and now the show she gave her childhood to gave the character she loved so much such a horrible ending
The stranger things cast deserved a better written ending than one written by the duffers whose egos are too high to realise they didn't make a masterpiece of a ending/season

Honestly I called it that they would leave Stancy/Jancy ambiguous with Nancy staying single and leaving it up to interpretation if she stays single, meets someone new or ends back up with Jonathan or Steve which is pretty lazy writing but honestly with how bad the writing was this season I’m kinda glad because I’ll just read fix it fanfics and give Stancy a better ending than what the duffer brothers would’ve given them. I’m actually more upset about the ambiguous ending for Jane/El because she deserved such a better ending than what she got at the end. Both endings suck — she’s either dead or alone without friends or family :(
realized I didn't have any pics of the twins! ✨

The way I was a Stancy shipper (still am but it’s bones) but the love triangle ended with Stonathan and I’m not mad about it. I love a good frenemies to lovers trope. What do you mean Jonathan wants Steve to be in NYC with him? And I clocked those glances 👀 Robin was right to call them lovebirds.
