Got the game on launch day and got into it as soon as I finished my morning class of that day lmao, I might have played 24 hrs in 3 days... oops?

First thought: UNMEI YOU MAGNIFICENT GREMLING.
I love him, he is so chill yet ready to throw hands at any given moment. I also love how he somehow endears everyone around??? They are all so weak to him. I might fall into multishipping hell the moment I finish the game and go looking for fan-content lmao.
I also love all the sidequests? I forget the randomness of level-5, but I was constantly reminded a bit of Layton in some moments. I loved that whole cat-related quest, it was giving Miette vibes ngl. Also the grandma with the IE version of pkm GO??? Adorable, give me 10+ more.
I'm also surprised by the amount of stalking-related stuff going on the game? It was mostly a joke at the start with Unmei somehow knowing about everything and having huge amounts of data on EVERYONE, but by chapter 7 when Kisoji had to go stalking the team I think it dawned on me how much it was used as a trope in game.
I also have seen a lot of people complain about the requierements to advance and I didnt think it was much of a problem? Its probably my chronic urge to overlevel and grind passively while I play the game but any time I encountered the requirements I had already completed them?
Okay, continuing with the characters and story (I'm writing this with like 4 hrs of sleep and it showsss)
I love Sakurazaki more than I though I would, he seemed too agressive for my taste but I was proven wrong pretty quickly post chapter 1 or 2. I love how he calls Unmei "Boss" and already acts like he knows how Unmei works lmao, but he still puts funny faces whenever Unmei comes up with crazy ideas or gives nonsensical advice.
Kisoji has been adopted by me (and my brother, who was with me while I played that one game against his old school and was very stressed over my playing skills lmao) I'm pretty sure I cried watching him cry, If anyone else dares to hurt him, there will be bloodshed :)
With Raika, while I loved the whole recruit her section, I would also have loved to see more of her? We get a bunch of her and Sakurazaki and some with Kameo, but I would have liked a bit more? I still love her rivalry with Sakurazaki and their whole convined hissatsu tho, they bicker so much I love them. Plus her lowkey helping Kameo and confronting him with his insecurities was pretty good.
Talking about Kameo, while I liked him (honestly, I loved the whole team ngl) I also though he probs needed a bit more? Like, we learn about his insecurities early on and he grows as a character, I'm literally mid Royal game so I managed to see a bit more of his character grow and love how they used his admiration/love for Raika to get better, but it didnt hit as much as other characters? Its probably me tho, I rlly need to reread the story once I finish the game, but because I learned that his mom was a gym person it felt like a little too late? Again, its probs because I'm literally just there now, so my opinion might change once I get over that game and continue the story.
Shisendo is pretty soft in comparison with my first impression of him, loved his moral code of learning what happened with the football club before trying to disband it. Though o much background story and idk if theres still time for the story to drop some lore lmao, but I like him.
Yagyu has grown on me, at the start I didnt quite liked him but he integrated nicely into the team, and I have liked his interactions so far and I loved how he defended the team and complained about the Northbright merge. Love his comments before any game against the teams, he talks shittt and I love that for him frfr.
Continuing with Sormiya, he is so precious??? I love that one scene where he cries watching Unmei happy leading the team before their game starts??? And also the moment he throws himself towards Unmei and hugs him??? His whole model in-game is pretty small (in comparison to the rest of the team except for Unmei) so I just need to gently hold him in my hands asap.
I have big feelings about the characters lmao, I'll probs continue raving about them individually later on tho. I need more info to talk about Haru and probs Ren? So I will ramble more someday.
Theres also this meme on twt (TWT!!! The hype for the game was so powerful I went back there just so see the spanish fandom go wild lmaooo) about Unmei collecting the characters like a Pkm/ a harem, (according to some people he wins against Hiroto in freakiness/gayness levels) and its so funny??? I have seen more that once that Skurazaki is referred as "Love Interest #1", Kisoji as "Love interest #2", Sorimiya as "Love interest #3" and Haru as "Love interest #4, and y'all need to understand how rare that is??? Bc usually on twt the majority of fans are straight males who are pretty opossed to shipping, but I have seen a bunch just accepting the Unmei ships because even they can't deny the vibes he has going on with the rest of the characters in the game.
Between the exitement of the new Inazuma Eleven game (and the whole Ina-dai stream tbh) and me doing some server cleaning on my discord acc, I just found this jewel!
Its one of my first reactions to Unmei back when the game was revealed to be a whole new gen of players!
Look at all the hope past me had about the game, little did I know that 2 years later I would still be waiting for the game lmao, but now I just need to wait less tha a month!
