tbh one of the funniest parts of Iron Man 2 for me is that Nat spent all this time coming up with a Sexy Backstory for Natalie including modeling because she just straight assumed Stark would hire her of he wanted to fuck her but meanwhile Tony took one look at her resume and was like ‘omg this lady will drive Pepper crazy…..perfect’ lmao

hi i’m here to talk about characters with aches

aches from old injuries. finicky battle wounds, stiff joints from being restrained in captivity - things that their body never erased, pain that reminds them every day of what they went through. maybe it’s obvious, like a limp, or maybe it’s something that it only clear with early morning stretches and groans. maybe the aches grow worse in rainy weather, or when they think about the injury that caused the soreness.

a character who has to live with aches, and the painful memories behind them.

"It's not as fancy as your other ones, I know, but I know you like watches, so..." They trails off, smiling at Tony. "Plus, I'm off duty for the night. You wanna go out and do something? Or just show off in your workshop?"

After he took the gift and opened it, a bright smile graced his lips.  “Hey, it’s not about fancy,” he assured his best friend, putting the watch on his left arm.  “You got my colors right, that’s all that matters.  Now my watch matches my arm.”  He fluttered the fingers of his prosthetic.

“Pep and Morgan took the liberty of cooking a huge feast for my big day so I think I’d rather stay in.  I can show you the advancements I’m making in prosthetic technology.”
