Hey, RPers

As for right now, we’re going to put this group on a hiatus. As the admins, we’ve noticed how the activity has been lower, on our part and the roleplayers. We’d love to give this group some more attention in the future, but interest in the group has been low, and we’re going to take a short break from running ads and promos and try and better the group.

That being said, we do still have an awesome group of roleplayers, and we welcome all of you to keep roleplaying! Admin Aimee and myself will continue, and we have updated the masterlist and ooc with everyone who’s still in the group. This way the remaining members will feel a little less pressure to keep their activity high, and just be able to roleplay casually.

Hopefully this is a short break and we’ll be back to running at full speed with some new roleplayers! Hope to see all of you still in the group continuing to RP and interact with each other! <3

Late last night, a body was recovered from the Forbidden Forest surrounding Hogwarts Castle. This body belonged to none other than young Auror wizard, Camden Lahey, age 24. The Hogwarts alumn leaves behind a younger brother Isaac Lahey, who’s a seventh year at Hogwarts. The body was found bleeding from a sectumsempra curse, but Lahey’s ultimate end was the Unforgivable Killing Curse.

Head Aurors on the case aren’t sure as to who is behind this grisly murder, and are taking all measures to stop whoever may have committed this crime. The possibility that the murderer was a student isn’t one Aurors are willing to explore, as Hogwarts would become a very dangerous place if even a single student could manage dark magic, and an Unforgivable Curse at that.

Hogwarts is currently on full lock down until the culprit is found. No student or teachers will be allowed to leave the premises, nor enter as long as this case is under investigation.

13-year old witch Charlie Montgomery is not sure of her lineage as she has never known her parents. She is always smiling and happy, choosing to be optimistic whenever she can. She is bubbly, outgoing, cheerful, optimistic, intelligent, and extremely loyal to her friends and family. Charlie isn't afraid to tell people what she thinks, and will stand up for her friends. Sometimes, she encounters embarrassing moments  She looks like Rowan Blanchard.

Not much is known about Charlie’s early life. She was placed into foster care when she was a baby and has been bouncing around foster homes every since. Some were good. Some weren’t The only thing that has gotten her through all the different homes and families was her incredible sense of optimism.  Wherever she stayed, Charlie tried to help out her foster parents as much as possible, volunteering to do any chores they needed done, even if they weren’t very nice to her.  She always had dreams of being a veterinarian, but for a young foster kid, those dreams seem completely out of reach. When she was 10, a owl mysteriously flew through her window at night. After quickly befriending the owl, Charlie realized that he was carrying her letter from Hogwarts. Besides the typical letter, there was another piece of paper explaining that a teacher would be by to explain to her foster parents that Charlie was a witch and what they were expected to do. Luckily enough, Charlie was in a nice house at the time so her foster parents were willing to take her to Diagon Alley and pay for her school supplies. Upon arrival at Hogwarts, Charlie was sorted into Hufflepuff and fit in splendidly with her new housemates.

Charlie has adjusted well to her new life at Hogwarts. She has plenty of friends, including the owl who brought her her Hogwarts letter (She calls him Archimedes and he’s basically her pet). She’s excited that she finally gets to take Care of Magical Creatures this year and learn more about the creatures in the wizarding world. She’s also signed up for Muggle Studies and Divination this year. She still keeps in touch with her last foster family and is currently in the process of being adopted by them. She writes to them every day, letting them know that she is okay and tells them everything she’s learning. Because they are muggles, she considered herself muggleborn.

Growing up as a foster child, Charlie would much rather focus on the future than the past, but she is curious bout her parents and who they were. She’s always felt like there was something different about her, but she doesn’t know what it is. Maybe finding out who her parents were and what exactly her lineage is could help her get the answers she’s looking for.

→Ava van Antwerp is one of Charlie’s close friends from her house. They are alike in personality and get along very qell together. Charlie doesn’t mind that Ava or her family are werewolves.  →Professor Deaton is Charlie’s favorite teacher. In her first years she excelled in Herbology and is now old enough to take Care of Magical Creatures with him.  →Isaac Lahey is something of a big brother to Charlie. He’s always looking out for her and is not afraid to take on any bullies who pick on her.
