Look at this beautiful baby i found this evening!!!
You don’t need the most expensive, extravagant items to decorate your altar. A good amount of the items in my pictures here are items I’ve bought second hand in charity shops, meaning I save money but I also give to the organisations that will help those in need. Rule of Three.
I’m not who I want to be, yet. But I will get there with time.
it’s a really nice day today!
spells are a lot like recipes. You can make a couple substitutions and variations, but if you overdo it you'll come out with something totally different than what you tried to make. Intent is very important but it isnt everything. You cant make chocolate chip cookies with onions, salt, and determination- but you could make french onion soup!
having a lovely evening listening to billie holiday and doing some light grimoire work. hope you’re also having a peaceful evening ~
Cleansed and charged my crystal! 🥰🥰
New mini Altar Kits!
Available on Etsy.
The first of the harvest sabbats is next week and I AM SO EXCITED!
Janus is finally done, or his skull at least haha. He’s been sitting on the project table for a while and I finally got a chance to finish the last bit of cleaning. Hopefully I can get his pelt done soon after I get my windows fixed. I had two of them broken by debris from a lawnmower and bugs have been trying to get into my studio, so no tanning until they’re fixed 8(
Smoke Bomb Cleansing
For when you absolutely need to cleanse the ever living fuck out of your spaces!!!
Materials:
Fire safe container or cauldron
Charcoal brick
Tongs (so you dont burn your fingers when you light the charcoal)
Candle for lighting
Herbal cleansing mix (mine is rose, juniper berry and branch, bay leaf, willow, cedar, and frankincense)
Banishing music
Set up your cauldron and supplies in he space to be scrubbed of oozey negative bullshit. Play your music to get you into the headspace to banish and cleanse. Light charcoal over the candle while envisioning that you're lighting any negativity on fire. Place in cauldron and top with herbal mix. Keep adding mix to charcoal brick until you are satisfied with the energy of the smoke. Envision that this smoke is permeating all areas of the room and power washing the shit out of the energies there while listening to your banishing music. (I will make a playlist for you guys at some point of what I use.) Allow yourself to stay in the room as you cleanse the space, using the energy as a focus to tell all that bullshit to fuck off out of your space.
When the cleansing in complete, give a big middle finger to the energy of the space to remind it that it is your bitch!!!
Notes:
If you are able, open windows in the space. 1- This will help you not to die of massive smoke inhalation. 2- No smoke alarms will go off. 3- Open windows are great for visualizing negative energy suckers and asshole oozy entities running as far and as fast as they can to get out the windows from your wrathful banishment.
The herbs I chose are personal to myself and my practice. I use them all in place of traditional sage and other herbs because of harvesting ethics as well as safety. For example, clove is great for cleansing, but is toxic to the three cats that live in my home. So keep utility in mind as well as safety concerns and ethics.
This process might take a while. I used about 1/2 cup of mix to make a shitton of smoke. It took me about 30 minutes to do all of it, which wasn't fully necessary, but felt right. Take your time reclaiming the power over the energy of the space.
Have fun smoke bombing the negative bullshit from your spaces!
Another day, another rainbow 🌈🌸🍃
